Having watched (unnecessary lag and all) the Nintendo Direct pre-E3 mini conference, I am over-the-top excited, and it has sealed the deal that Nintendo this year are going. To. Kick. Flank.

There's no possible way that this E3 can get better.

Behold the main reason I 'm excited for this year's E3.

Hm....I stand corrected. Let's bring on E3!

That game was beyond epic and revolutionarily changing the Need for Speed franchise which carried mostly by gameplay, especially in terms of car customization to a new level for the next several games. It's shocking seeing the game return to its roots two years ago with Hot Pursuit. Now they are apparently at it again with this new one, a long-awaited, high demanded edition in the series.

Being Criterion's first NFS game (am I correct?), we should see tons of wanted (no pun intended) features in the game.

I just hope they know what they are doing.

Nope they was the ones behind Hot Pursuit's revival. Trust me it's in good hands.

That's what I was assuming. Criterion has been making epic Burnout games before their partnership with EA in Burnout Paradise. Burnout 2, Burnout Rivals, and Burnout Legends are some of my favorites.

The new spinoff, Burnout Crash!, is pretty fun as well.

So many lost hours on Paradise. I love the Toy Car add on brilliant fun. Black Box produced the Run and it was good single player and that was about it. I had high hopes with the development window of 4 years but sadly let me down similar to{insert relevant pony meme here} Luckliy for NFS Criterion is here save the Rarity er I mean day.

Well, there have been quite a few third party mature games announced for the system already(Aliens, Darksiders, Assassin's Creed, Killer Freaks, etc.), and apparently retail Wii U games will also be downloadable, so they gotta have some stable online infrastructure planned for that. ;)

It's not "third party mature games" I want. It's quality first party Nintendo titles that I want.

The Wii was very underwhelming in that regard, and the 'innovation' of the Wii Remote didn't help. In fact, it actually made it worse.

Oh my gosh yes. Paradise is probably on the top 10 list of best racing games ever. The thing was packed with overloading content. The environment seemed infinite. Paradise City was one of the biggest, best and most fun areas I've seen in a video game. It grew on you until it felt like a home.

So, so many memories....and it's only like 4 years old. I hope they never take down the games' servers. Well, they have to eventually, but hopefully not for another few years. Too bad it looks like they're not adding anymore DLC/content on there. That game was so manipulatable, and it actually had an existence within it, it grew along with the community.

Alrighty then, I dunno about you, but I think we should start taking bets for what games will be revealed at the Nintendo E3.

For the Wii U, I'll put my money on Super Mario Bros. Mii, Pikmin 3, A Kirby Title, Star Fox Wii U, and maaaybe a Legend Of Zelda HD.

For the 3DS, my money is on stuff we've heard since E3 2010 (Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion 2), and maaaybe one or two new titles.

And for the Wii, just the Kirby 20th anniversary compilation. That's it. I don't see them doing anything else for the Wii except that one already announced title.

They confirmed that there will be no Star Fox or Metroid game for the Wii U. It's a shame, really, two series that definitely need a major makeover. :(

As for the Wii U in general, this has to be their biggest leap in contrast to the competitors. Just think, for a few years, Nintendo gaming in HD had only been a fantasy, now it's going to come true, with so much more. I especially like the social elements of Nintendo Network, I definitely see that working well.

I thought they just confirmed that there wasn't gonna be a Star Fox-x-Metroid Crossover, I didn't know it was established that neither series would be there at all. Huh. That's a shame, a Star Fox on the Wii U seemed interesting.

Oh, I think I missed that part. Yeah, a SF/M co is definitely out of the question, but I don't think they outruled indivuduals yet. But I'd love to see what they'd each of the series.

There's so many useful utilities I can think of for both of the games. The new game pad is going to be freaking amazing.

Fixed. Luigi's Mansion 2 was announced at last E3, Paper Mario at E3 2010 with Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing and Paper Mario are really the ones that need to be shown. But I have this bad feeling that the conference will be all Wii U from what Iwata said, and if there is any room for 3DS it will be New Super Mario Bros. 2. -_-

Oh, there'll be plenty of room, trust me. They will just mainly focus on the Wii U, that's all. I'm sure they'll update games that need it badly such as Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, and Luigi's Mansion 2. And of course, I think New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be the main attraction, can't freaking wait for that game.

Predictions? Hm... Well for 3DS, I expect Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario, NSMB2, and Animal Crossing stuff, and I'll hope and pray for a new 3DS Zelda or Majora's Mask remake. As for Wii, Kirby collection for sure, maybe something for The Last Story since it comes out next month, and I'll hope and pray for a Pandora's Tower NA release announcement. As for Wii U, I only expect Pikmin 3 and various 3rd Party stuff, and I'll be doing a lot of hoping and praying for every Nintendo and third party franchise ever to have something on it. Microsoft will show Kinect and Halo 4 stuff, hope they have some surprise for their fans though. Sony will probably talk about their Smash Bros. clone and that new God of War game, and they need more Vita stuff, but I have no idea what to expect for that.

Iwata pretty much directly said that the conference would be all about the Wii U.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 being the main attraction would make me want to cry. We don't need to see anymore of that game. We already know everything about it. It's just another New Super Mario Bros. game. Show us games that we actually need to know more about, like Animal Crossing and Paper Mario. New Super Mario Bros. 2 shouldn't even be coming out before them. I hate Nintendo for this.

Oh, derp. Huh, I guess my memory is failing. Though I am disappoint I forgot about Paper Mario, I'm looking forward to that.

While I hope it won't be the main attraction, it does kinda make sense it'll be released before Animal Crossing and Paper Mario. For one, Mario sells both games and consoles, and it's a 2D plat former sequel. New Super Mario Bros Wii was only 0.36 GBs, which pales in comparison of games like Super Mario Galaxy, with 3.28 GBs, Kirby's Epic Yarn, with 3.59, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with an amazing 6.77 GBs. It's quicker, easier, and more rewarding to make. Thus, Nintendo would put it's production on high priority. And even if they didn't, I'd imagine it would still be faster to make then an RPG.

But I personally would love to see more Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion 2, Animal Crossing 3DS, and Pokemon Black 2/White 2 news.

I'm mostly excited about the news about Black Ops II. I'll finally get to see gameplay footage most likely, which may reveal new weapons and some features of campaign (Sadly, multiplayer will most likely be focused on later in August or September), so I'm excited about that :). I'm also wondering if anything on GTA V will be revealed. I'm more than likely getting that game too, so I wanna know some stuff about it.

In Max Payne 3 one of the easter eggs was the Planes and such from GTA 5 in one of the maps.

At the end of the video, he said there will be stuff about the 3ds. Though, it is mainly about the wii u.

If they announce a traditional RPG style Paper Mario game for the Wii U, they will get my money. If not, I don't see myself getting a Wii U at all for quite a while.
