If that would be a common issue, I think producers would be specifying lifespan or something, but that information isn't provided, most of the time at least; as opposed to lifespan of keys themselves measured in total number of presses. So I suppose lights shouldn't be an issue. And honestly if that would be breaking fast, then it would be completely pointless. But of course, you never know; perhaps some cheaper keyboards are too cheap for that.
