I think it is more a case of not forcing change when I am not unhappy with the current situation.

Work however I like to stretch myself and learn new things, so a change in role once in a while is welcome.

So, if you are down to final exams, you must at least have SOME idea of what roles you would like to apply for once you have finished? or are you thinking of further education?

Just got done going on a supermarket run. My wife wanted me to cook her salmon for mother's day eve dinner, and she and my daughter went to a friend's bday party. Turns out there's a boat load of food, so no cooking for me tonight. I was going to run to the liquor store to get myself a bottle of wine, but ended up not doing that either. Boo.

Food should keep well enough for tomorrow, and you never know, perhaps said daughter can perform the actual cooking instead, giving @PiratePony a second pass on having to cook.  Cooking breakfast is more traditional for mothers day though

Doing pretty good.  Just got off the phone with the family back in the States.  Wishing my mother Happy Mother's Day, even though it's still Saturday for her, but meh, time zones.

Gonna game here with my buds then settle in to watch the new episode of FiM.  Then probably just stay in today.  It's all rainy and cold out, good day just to snuggle in.

Watched it on one of the streaming parties earlier.  DailyMotion has the leaked version, but all today's uploads seem fake or blurry/mirrored etc.
