Theory Applejack’s Parents

Though they are shown only once, it seems like something more is behind them. They are gone, and when AJ, Apple Bloom, and Big Mac talk to Burnt Oak, Mrs. Cake, and Mayor Mare there seems to be an unspoken sadness... as if Pear Butter and Bright Mac passed away. My theory is that they had a Romeo and Juliet type situation, given that they are in the midst of a large family feud. What are your thoughts?

You're theory is 100% correct.

1. Perfect Pear is inspired by Romeo & Juliet.

This seems like a very interesting theory. But Granny Smith did welcome Pear Butter with open arms. They're relationship also lasted long enough to obviously to have 3 children. But the question is how old were the Apple Sibling when their parents passed? Since Apple Bloom doesn't remember them. Was it illness or perhaps during a delivery somewhere? Their disappearance leaves many questions to be answered.

Well... I don't believe it was exactly Romeo & Juliet, because the two must have lived long enough to have three children of different ages. I find it hard to imagine how and when they died, as there are very few hints as to exactly how they existed alongside the Apples, but my first guess would be either illness or a farm accident.

Romeo and Juliet is actually worse then their relationship. My guess they died around the same time apple bloom was born... which would be like 14 years ago or something. I don't know how they died or when. You wanna know something interesting though? Applejack and Big Mac are probably older than their parents were when they died.
