1. That's true. 
2. Yes he helps us bake pies if we're extra busy & he also helps Pinkie Pie (Who he treats like a second daughter to him.) at Sugarcube Corner.

Princess twilight,

As an expert in equestrian history. Were their leaders before celestia? Most of my equestrian history comes from shotty cutie Mark crusader play productions. I know star swirl helped raise the sun but there's little evidence he was a ruler. Gusty the great and clover the clever were "before the founding of equestria."

Who was the first leader? We're there others?

It says here there was a Princess named "Glorious Sunrise" who was in charge of raising the sun before Celestia was officially crowned Princess...

 

It seems that that's all of the information about the Pre-Celestia Era in this book, I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help to you, my friend.

 I visited Griffonstone & it was NOT a place I would want to stay/live in for a long time.

I'm sure there are other places where griffons live but I've never seen them on a map, myself.

I just finished "Radiance vs The Pony-Tailors" where Radiance must battle the evil "Cross-stitch" & "Knitting needle"

who have trapped the other Power Ponies using mind controlling saddles.

*whispers* Do you think celestia... How do I put this... "made her go away" then erased all the history books and rewrote them to show her as the all glorious princess? 

I'm just saying... this 1000 year dictatorship with no free elections, The banishment of anypony who stands agenst her, nightmare moon, sunset shimmer... I'm sure there were other students before you and sunset, what happened to them?  Does anypony live through a disagreement with celestia?
