Their powers include flight, enhanced strength, and keen senses like sharp eyesight and hearing. They are also known for their wisdom, courage, and protective nature, often guarding treasures and valuables.

Those sound more like biological qualities of physical origin. Griffins themselves are also physical creatures. I.E., not supernatural.
