technical issue Problem with Ignore List and PM

If I add a user to my ignore list and check the box next to "Messages," would that prevent me from receiving PMs from the ignored users? Because I tried that, and it doesn't seem to be working.

They can still send you a message, it will just be hidden from you like a regular post would be ignored.

In fact, if the ignored user was being told the message didn't get send, then they would definitely know that you're ignoring them and that would break the reassurance that the ignored user won't even know you're ignoring them.

Yeah, IPB's ignore settings still require a measure of willpower from the user to ignore any links to 'unhide' ignored content.
