Arcania's statement grabbed Indicus's attention. "Dissent? In what way, hot headed kids trying to prove themselves or vocal opposition about how things are being managed?" Indicus thought back to the cases he had of both.

"I wish it were the former, but alas, it is the later" she says and closes her eyes "Right now, it's just whispers in the dark and rumors, but I do have Cherish on the look out for anyone who may be planning to try and overthrow me. There's a reason she's my second in command and no one else is" she says and smiles as she opens her eyes and looks to Crystal and Faith "She truly proved her worth to me, her loyalty and that she had earned my trust. When she came to me, she was as near death as you were when we found you, dear Crystal, she begged for shelter and food, and I gave it to her. Once she was better, she was addamant to repay my aid, and even helped route out the last lot of dessenters" she says with a soft smile "In reality, she's as much a daughter to me, as she is my second in command"

"Ah I see. It is good you have Cherish then someone who you can trust in our line of work is always a good thing. I'll have to thank the young changeling for helping you." Indicus replied

Crystal smiled, "I'm glad you took her in then, it is always nice to hear stories of my changelings being accepted as they are. Gives me hope."

Arcania smiles and nods "Well we take in any who needs help, well I do at least. And if they prove to have an aptitude for this line of work, then I take them under my wing. Cherish just proved herself the most, especially with her loyalty"

"That's always a good policy to hold." Indicus stated cuddling up to Arcania as Crystal started cuddling up to Indicus. "I can help you solve your resentment problem. I can speak their language. Show them their disruption of operations is not appreciated or tolerated just give me the word."

Arcania nods "I'm waiting on some irrefutable evidence, right now Cherish is getting what she can together, No use going off of just just whispers and rumors. Once there's some irrefutable evidence, love, I will give the word, but you will need to work with Cherish"

"Can't say your wrong there. For now I will just cuddle with my beautiful marefriends.If retirement is like this all the time I may just stay out of the business for awhile."  Crystal was curled up against Indicus eyes closed lightly breathing with a smile on her muzzle.

Arcania smiles and gently leans on indicus as well, she then strokes Crystal's mane gently "can't blame you there, two beautiful mares, a darling litlte daughter and a future father in law who is teaching you about your heritage"

"I am so glad that I know this is not just some cruel part of my mind dreaming this up." Indicus put his hand over Arcania's heart feeling each beat in her chest. Keeping himself assured he was not just dreaming.

Arcania smiles and nods "Indeed, I'm glad of it too" she says, then looks down a little, tearing up. It was obvious something was on her mind and weighing her heart down quite a lot, but she was reluctant to tell.

Indicus recognized Arcania's shift in mood very quickly. He placed his hands on her shoulders. "Hey what's wrong Arcania?" Indicus asked as he also wiped a tear front Arcania's eyes. "You can tell me anything I won't judge."

She sighs and twiddles her thumbs a little "Y-you see, one of the reasons why I got into alchemy is because...I c-can't concieve" she says and begins to tear up, burying her face into his chest and sobbing, there was quite clearly more to that though.

Indicus wrapped his arms around his crying marefriend trying to calm her enough to continue. "Hey, it still doesn't make me love you any less, Arcania." Indicus said reassuranly letting her continue with what she had to say when she was ready.

"Indicus, Crystal...I was r..taken badly advantage of when I was younger, and in the process, my womb was..destroyed, meaning I cannot concieve a foal, for either of you" she says and continues to sob "I've treid conventional medical methods b-but nothing helped, w-which is why i turned to Alchemy"

Crystal noticed Indicus's spike of rage and saw the brief change in his expression when Arcania mentioned being taken advantage of. It all disappeared in a second as Indicus held Arcania closer to himself. "No matter what happens Crystal and I will be here for you. Maybe we will eventually find a solution.

Arcania sensed it too "D-don't worry, daddy took good care of the perpetrator" she says gently and nuzzles him "So d-don't worry okay loves" she says as she closes her eyes, slowly drifting into sleep as she snuggled up to them.

Indicus gently picked Arcania up and walked her to the bedroom and placed her on the bed. Crystal took Faith and placed her in her crib.

Crystal looked at Arcania's sleeping form and Indicus laying down next to her. "Perpetrator taken care of or not the fact you got that angry at the thought makes me even more sure that marking you as my mate was a good decision."

Indicus smiled, "That's good to hear. Anyway get in bed it's late and the feeling of you both next to me has spoiled me." 

Crystal giggled, "If you insist." Crystal joined Indicus and Arcania in the bed and snuggle up with them

Arcania was fast asleep by then and curled up with her favorite plushies while snuggled up to both Indicus and Crystal.

A few hours later, in the early hours of the morning, Arcania wakes up with a yawn and a stretch before going to the kitchen to start brewing some fresh coffee.

Indicus being the light sleeper he usually was noticed this but decided to not get up immediately even if he could with Crystal's arms wrapping around him her status as a changeling queen very apparent in the strength she used to hold him down. "Your staying right there for now Indicus I am enjoying this and you are not getting up till I say so." Crystal muttered.

Arcania smiles as she carries in three mugs of fresh, hot coffee, giving the other two a mug each "And good morning to you too as well" she says with a giggle "Trying to hog our stallion, are now dear Crystal?"

Indicus smelled the coffee and took a mug with a hand that was not trapped by Crystal. While Crystal smelled the coffee it took her a second to register the drink before she took it still holding Indicus with her other arm. "He's comfy and warm." Crystal muttered as she took a sip, then started to wake up. 

Indicus chuckled, "Well now I think her case was made. Might have to wait for the coffee to take hold."

Arcania giggles "I can't argue with her reasons though, you are pretty darn comfy and warm" She says, sitting down next to him on his other side and rests her head on his shoulder "Gonna take a break from work today, was thinking of spending time with Faith today"

"Stallion pillow, warm and comfortable get yours today." Indicus jokingly stated mimicking a commercial spokesperson. Indicus placed a hand on Arcania's shoulder using his magic to drink from the mug.

"That's nice, I might stay with you then we can enjoy a peaceful day together, and discuss how to mess with our coltfriend."

Indicus grinned, "With you two I feel sorry for the one that catches our little Faith's eye when she's of age her mother's will teach her to weaponize herself at will. Like they love doing to me." Indicus added the last part as if talking with someone else.

"Hmm you know, that isn't a bad idea..I'm sure there are plenty of lonely mares out there who'd love a stallion pillow to snuggle up to at night" Arcania says with a smile "Maybe that's what Crystal could do, are you any good at sewing dear?" sheasks her "Also, you forget that Faith is a future Changeling Queen, I don't think she needs training in the art of seduction"

Crystal looked at Arcania. "Stitching something up sure design not so much. But I'm sure I can find a way to imprint a design on something." 

"She may have an inclination for suduction but there are things that must be taught" Indicus explained
