Question: I keep seeing the same oven dish, the implication being, you eat it straight out of the dish, not put it on a plate? :D

Hi Tropical, all of the meals I'm getting from this thing/service come in those containers and I eat them out of those containers.

Spoiler

Recipe –

1 sachet Colman's Sausage Casserole Recipe Mix (I used only half, and for all of the folowing– the limiting factor being the size of my casserole dish)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
450 g sausages (I used only half, 4 off)
2 medium onions, sliced (I used just half a large onion)
115 g mushrooms, sliced (50 - 60 grams)
1 red pepper, sliced (I used not quite half)
300 ml cold water (150 ml)

Preheat the oven to 180°C, 170°C fan assisted.

Fry the sausages until brown, toss in the onion, fry for another 4 minutes (only until soft). Place in an ovenproof casserole dish with the mushrooms and pepper.

Mix the contents of the sachet with the water and add to the pot. Cover and cook for 1 hour. As I was doing only half, just half the sachet, and only cook for 30 minutes!

Also made boiled potatoes with carrots to be mashed with margerine & a little milk.

When ready, put the mash on a plate, ladle out the casserole on top, some salt & black pepper, scoff. :D

2x Doner-kebab (in Russia called Shawrma). Cooked by some good middle-asian guys.

1x cup of black tea

I'm russian for two years. So, I think, even if I say something different from little east-european foals, nobody will trust me.

Sausage casserole again, but this time only 3 sausages. :D  As before, fried with onion, then in the oven with mushrooms and red pepper, & Coleman's sauce mix, & a wee dash of Korean pot noodle spice sachet, because I like living dangerously. :D  On a bed of  crushed  boiled potato & carrot.

Russian salad again, but instead of pickled cucumber, this time pickled beetroot, which accounts for the slightly pink colour... tho you probably can't see it in photo... with salami & pepperoni sausage, wholemeal bread...

Gum, mint gum... Isn't gum technically food?  Wow, I just sounded cryptic or something. :ButtercupLaugh:

For food with actual nutrients, yesterday for supper, steak with baked potato, sauteed mushrooms and broccoli and cheese! :P Mmm!

For dessert, chocolate cupcake :wub:I was in heaven there! :sunbutt:
