Labskaus - sort of - boiled/steamed potato, check, corned beef, check - but cabbage instead of onion - fried egg on top, check - but no herring. I did add diced pickled beetroot, so check on that. Reheated in a skillet with olive oil.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Chip butties (sandwiches) with sliced cucumber, the chips were take-out fish & chip shop chips.

Have to say the cucumber does detract from the flavour of the chips, so the second one was without, i.e. just chips. Yes betterer. With Himalayan pink salt & black pepper.

How to make Libyan Mbakbaka - A warmly spiced one pot pasta masterpiece - YouTube

What you're looking at is a one-pot wonder called 'makroona mbakbaka'; it's a Libyan/Egyptian variant of Minestrone, made with beef or lamb chunks, tomato sauce, and a mix of spices. It's become one of my favorite things to make since Kitsune Udon and Mabo Tofu.

This, and a big batch of Baba Ganoush.:mlp_nom:
