"I'm not cold, in fact, my body temperature is lot higher than yours." Jenna calmly stated, laying her head down "My scales just are thick and heat resistant, so you probably can't feel my heat that well."

"That makes sense," Oliver agreed with a nod, and started to gently pet Jenna's head. "I'll have to keep that in mind in case you get sick or anything."

Though, that just made him wonder. "Can dragons get sick?"

"We are immune to most if not all known illnesses due to our high body temperature, but that doesn't necessary mean we can't get sick." Jenna  explained "So I guess the answer would be that we can't get sick for now."

Oliver nodded. "That makes sense, your body heat would just kill it off before it could do anything drastic."

Her mentioning her body heat made him realise something. "You didn't feel all that warm as a human. I guess that means you can control your temperature?"

"Yes and no." Jenna replied "I don't control anything, but the magic we use to transform does something to hide it." "but I don't know how it works exactly, because we were only taught how to transform, not how the magic itself works."

Oliver nodded slowly. "So it just changes on its own? I guess that kinda makes sense." He looked up at the sky. "Is there anywhere you've always wanted to go? Any places you've heard of or seen or something?"

"Not really." Jenna replied, she didn't move her head "But I'm curious about East, I'd like to meet some of the Eastern dragons." they were known for their magical skills and wisdom, even if Talon tried to claim otherwise

"I'd love to go to the East as well," Oliver agred, smiling up at her. "Maybe we can travel there someday. I'd love to see some Eastern dragons too. Plus, It'd defienitely help throw Talon off our trail."

"They have eyes there too." Jenna stated "And though that is the direction we are going towards, it's way too far for us to plan anything related to it right now." "We should go place at a time, and tomorrow's worry is the next city." she yawned "Who knows, maybe there's a place in the east Talon doesn't reach, but I wouldn't keep up too much hope."

"But there's still a chance," Oliver pointed out, gently petting Jenna on the side of her neck. "And who knows, maybe we'll find other dragons who can help us out there. I'm sure you won't be the only one who escaped."

"Obviously I'm not the only one, but I'm on the oldest end of those who escape." Jenna replied "Most escape at age 16, since that's when the infiltration test is usually held." "Not that few years really mean anything to us, I'm as much of a hatchling as they are."

"Well still," Oliver said, "having more on our side will help. If you can take on a few of those guys alone, imagine what a whole lot of you could do. You'd be able to fight them off easy, especially with some older ones."

"I can fight them off only because I have been trained to be like them..." her expression indicated she had said something she wasn't supposed to say, but she continued regardless "...so most rogues aren't skilled enough to fight them off, and the Eastern dragons are known to be peaceful and to avoid fighting, so they won't be much help in a fight either."

"Just because they like to avoid fighting doesn't mean they can't fight," Oliver pointed out. "And if you were trained to be like them, then that means you know all their strategies and stuff like that, right?"

"Not quite." Jenna denied "I know all the basics, but nobody is taught everything in case they turn against Talon, I also never finished my training fully."  "Then there's also the fact that everyone comes up with their own strategies based on their strengths."

"And you're really smart, so I bet you'd have a few strategies ready just in case one of them does show up again," Oliver assured Jenna, smiling at her. "I just think you're more on top of things than you seem to think you are."

"I may be smart, but so are they." Jenna pointed out "One trick will fool them only once." "I know it may seem like I'm underestimating myself, but I am aware of what I can do, the thing just is, I'm also aware of what they can do." "You have to remember that when it comes to us dragons, I'm basically a kid."

"But you're still really smart, and strong as well," Oliver pointed out, smiling at Jenna. "You've gotten this far, especially without my help, so I'm sure you'll think of something the next time we come across them.

"Depends on who 'they' will be." Jenna stated "Because no matter my skills, I can't top someone ten times my age." "I doubt they would send someone like that after me since they seem to have bigger problems somewhere else, but if they did, I'd be doomed."

"Even so," Oliver said, "I'm sure you'd come up with a way to at least get away from them. You seem like the type to have a plan ready for any situation." He smiled at her. "If you can't outfight them, you can always outsmart them."

"This conversation is becoming a loop." Jenna stated "You praise me, I say why it isn't fully true, you praise me again and so on." she let out a yawn "I know you have a very high opinion about me, and I indeed am, compared to humans, very smart and strong, but so is every dragon, stupid dragon would most likely be on the level of average human."

Oliver shrugged. "I just think you're not giving yourself enough credit, especially after doing so much before you even met me."

He smiled up at Jenna. "I just hope I can pull my weight. Last thing I want to do is slow you down."

"You pull your weight by existing." Jenna said "Before meeting you, my only motivation was to stay alive, and sometimes I wondered why to even bother, but after meeting you, and thus having someone to look after, I'm lot better motivated to try to stay ahead our enemies."

"Well, I hope I can do more than just be someone you have to look out for," Oliver admitted, frowning a little. "I don't want you to get hurt or captured or something because of me getting in the way."

"If we end up in a situation where I get taken down, I don't think, with all due respect, that you would have the chance to feel bad about it."  Jenna said "For now all you can do is to learn to fight and well...if you know or can do something you think may help,tell me, because I don't really know much about your skills or knowledge."
