"Well you only have to do it once to see what happens," Oliver assured her, "so you don't need to do it again, right?"

He could already feel the wound feeling better, like it never happened, but he kept the bandage on as instructed.

"If nothing goes wrong yes, but if it for example got infected due to rush, the test would be void since mine can't get infected." Jenna pointed out "Infection would also be bad in general, so better just to play safe." she sighed "Don't want to cause any more harm than I've already done." while the topic had moved on, she still didn't feel any better about lying to Oliver, even with his understanding response to her confession, she still felt awful.

"Yeah, infection is never a good thing," Oliver agreed, looking at the bandaged wound again. "It's not hurting anymore, so I think that's a good sign."

He looked at Jenna again, seeing she was still troubled. "Something on your mind?"

"Conscience just beating me down." Jenna responded, she worded it like that because she said it jokingly to downplay it, but it was clear she was faking it, she let out a sigh, realizing how bad of an attempt it was "Are you sure you aren't angry at me or anything?" "For lying, for bringing all this to you?" "How can you just...be okay with it, I don't deserve it." she was again looking at the floor

"Well, yeah, I didn't really want to leave my life behind even if I didn't have much going on," Oliver admitted. "But I've seen what you're dealing with and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I left you to handle it alone."

"Leaving isn't really an option anyway, I've dragged you too deep." Jenna stated in regretful manner "I just, you are so...calm about it." "It doesn't compute for me, because of me you have to live in constant danger with no hope for ever settling down again, this whole time I lied to you about who I was, and you didn't even rise your voice."

"Well, you had your reasons to lie, I suppose," Oliver said. "I took you into my place, but you still had no idea who I was. You were just protecting yourself. Besides, I didn't have much of a life to leave behind anyway."

"How do you do it?" Jenna asked suddenly "I'd be furious, I am furious, at myself." she finally looked up, teary eyed "How can you be so kind and forgiving?" "You have every right to do lot of things, but you just...don't." she lowered her gaze again, tears dropping down  "I'm so sorry I lied to you, all the harm I brought to you, I wish I could do something, anything to make it up to you." she was conflicted, obviously Oliver wasn't mad at her, and somehow that made it almost worse, she was projecting her guilt to Oliver as anger so she didn't know how to process her feelings when Oliver actually just forgave her like that, she wanted him to be angry at her because she was angry at herself, she didn't feel like she deserved forgiveness.

Oliver put his arms around Jenna in an attempt to comfort her. He agreed he had every right to be furious at her, but he just couldn't feel it. He saw someone begging him for help and he wanted to give it.

"Honestly, not much was going on in my life until you ran into it," he said. "So I didn't mind dropping what little I had. Besides, I've seen what you're up against and I don't like the idea of leaving you to fend for yourself."

It wasn't really words that Jenna wanted, in fact, she didn't know what she wanted, but while Oliver's words went past her, his actions spoke more loudly, and as he wrapped his arms around her, Jenna broke, while this wasn't the first time she had shed tears in Oliver's presence, it hadn't been to this extend, and while her crying was rather quiet. partly due to it not being as natural to her, the strength of her feelings was apparent in the little noise she did make, and in her physicality, as signs of her form wanting to change was apparent again. If not interrupted, this would go on for quite a while before Jenna would start to calm down again.

Oliver could feel Jenna quietly crying against him, and he chose simply to let her get it all out. He could tell she had been holding her emotions in for a long time. He softly stroked her hair to help comfort her.

Jenna stayed put a while more after tears had stopped flowing, it was weird, crying was not what dragons usually did, in fact, she was pretty sure it was physically impossible for them when in their real forms...probably explained why they were so naturally violent...but still it felt good to cry, even with it being just a added feature to make the disguise more convincing, it somehow worked like it should, Jenna felt better, to certain extend.

After some moments she spoke, though it was slightly muffled, as she had instinctively pressed herself against Oliver during crying, and thus her mouth was was close enough to him that his clothes muffled her voice "I still don't understand it but thank you for being so....you. I promise I'll find a way to make it up to you, even if it's the last thing I'll do." she didn't have high hopes, partly because of this day, today had been supposed to be a nice day in the city where they didn't think about the bad things, yet this is where it lead, but she was also being serious, because while this had really helped her to feel better, it didn't mean she stopped blaming herself, and honestly it was objectively her fault that Oliver was in this mess, so it was only fair she'd do her best to fix it, even if it was unlikely.

Oliver kept his arms around her and stroked down her hair to try and help her calm down. He could tell she was in trouble and he wanted to help her through it.

"Just don't go and die on me," he said jokingly.

Jenna let out a small laugh "How would I keep you alive if I died?" but then turned bit more serious "More seriously, I don't think there will be a situation where only I die, neither Talon or The Order is known for mercy." "That is partly why I feel so bad about it, there is no real way out, I would give myself to them to save you, if I didn't know that it wouldn't save you."

"Not that I'd want you to give yourself to them anyway," Oliver said, stroking her cheek with his finger. He smiled at her. "Besides, we both know you wouldn't let either of them take you in without a fight."

Jenna smiled back, be it more faintly than Oliver  "Yeah, I'd frankly rather take myself out than go with them." there was a reason why she had described the fate as worse than death "Though at this point they probably don't want me alive anyway." the Order never really wanted her, or anyone in that matter, alive, but that wasn't important. "We have become too much trouble for them." She smiled faintly again "Guess that's a one positive we can take from all this, to know that we are a pain in the tail for them."

"Right, so we can keep making trouble for them," Oliver said, in hopes to cheer her up. "Plus, you're really strong. You can fight back whoever they send against us, no problem. I'll just try not to get shot again," he joked.

While it didn't make things worse, the praise didn't really cheer Jenna up either, as she couldn't help but worry about the potential they had learned about earlier "Depends if my fears are true or not." she stated "Talon has a new weapon, that much is pretty much certain, but if my capabilities are enough against it, that is a question. and I'm afraid the only way to get the answer is to face it." she looked towards the window, though the blinds being closed, there was nothing to actually see "We need to try and get rest today, we need to start moving tomorrow again."

Oliver nodded and let Jenna get off him. "Yeah, it's been a long day. We'll probably need to get moving early."

He looked down at the dragon/human with concern on his face. "Are you feeling any better now?"

"A little" Jenna said, meeting Oliver's eyes "I still feel very guilty, and I don't think that'll be going away any time soon, but this helped a bit." she looked down and let out a single laugh "Sorry you have to see me like this, a big strong dragon just bawling her eyes out like this." she pulled away from Oliver and got up "I was always told we don't feel these things, but here I am, and I have no idea how to deal with it." "I-I'll...just a moment." she walked to the bathroom and closed the door, the sound of running water was heard.

"Well I didn't think you were made of stone on the inside," Oliver chuckled, letting her get up. "Sure, take your time."

He sat on the bed and waited for her. He wasn't sure what kind of things that place was teaching her, but clearly it wasn't doing her any good.

She was in there for minute or so, after which she came out, drying her face with a towel as she did, she had washed her face "I just don't get how the others do it, they are so cold, so...nonreactive." she spoke as she tossed the towel aside "It's not like I'm special, you don't just evolve emotions like that, and yet, the few others I've seen have shown no sign of emotion."

"Well, maybe you've been exposed to humans longer than they have?" Oliver suggested. "It's more likely you developed human traits from being around them for so long. Or maybe you're just different from most dragons," he joked.

"The first option is just not true, many interact with humans daily, that's the point of infiltration." Jenna mentioned "And emotionally, I find it so hard to believe I'm somehow special, certainly I'm not the only one who felt a stab in my chest when my targets begged for mercy? Right? The Order isn't right about us right? we are not just loveless demons?" the questions were more directed at herself than Oliver, this whole thing triggered some kind of identity crisis in her, she then suddenly realized something "I get it now, all the brainwashing, the isolation...." she then again realized something, though this time it was seemingly lot less pleasant "...the fate of the male rogues..." she looked at Oliver, her expression a mixture of realization and fear "...the secret weapon is genetically engineered dragon, the perfect killing machine."

Oliver felt a lump in his throat as Jenna vocalised her thoughts. He really didn't like how much sense it made to him.

"Right, an unfeeling, unflinching killer," he said. "That might be why they're after you--they must see you as a failed attempt that needs wiped out."
