Does anyone know where I can find the music(by itself) in this scene. Its also in the scene where Rainbow Dash sneaks into the hospital. I checked InfinityDash and Senn555 but neither have it as far as I can tell. I appreciate any input, and while we are at it, what is your favorite BGM from the show?\

The show has an amazing orchestral and musical score team and, we owe the genius to the man himself, William Kevin Anderson.

 

Next to Ingram, they provide the musical awesomenss that is provided in the show, they are the reasons why the show needs its own official soundtrack, scores and musical numbers included.

Very, very careful and meticulous editing. They're the show's audio track with the vocals manually edited out. And as you can probably guess, it's no easy task to do it cleanly. If Senn sees this thread, he might tell you more about the process.

That's what I was assuming....and it did seem like an extra-hard feat to accomplish...it's just that...it's just....wow.

 

Especially the theme song, where the vocals clearly make themselves heard over the music itself. I heard the instrumental version of it and....I mean....holy.....wow. O_o

Thanks for notifying me about this thread. I likely wouldn't have caught it otherwise... I've been so busy and inactive on the boards here as of late!

 

If I'm remembering correctly, I believe this is also the same music used in Party of One when Pinkie is spying on Twilight, Rarity, and Fluttershy. I think JunkiesNewb ripped the Party of One version a long time ago, but his YouTube account got shut down by Hasbro last year since he also hosted full episodes. He does a lot of BGM rips himself (likely more than Infinity and I combined), and he goes by MrNewbyNewb now. You could try asking him for an mp3 of that music:

In any case, I'm not about to quit doing BGM rips anytime soon. There's a lot I'd really love to do, but there's just not enough time in the world for them; I have two more rips completed that I have yet to post up, but I can't give an estimate as to when I'll do so. I rely on InfinityDash to make the videos for the music that I rip - my seven year old laptop isn't sufficient enough to handle video editing programs. Unfortunately, he's very busy with college and exams right now, and I've already been waiting two weeks to have the videos made for my next two rips. I'll go bug him again as soon as I've finished writing this.

I also wanted to say, this list is horribly outdated. InfinityDash maintains that website, and all I can do on it is write and edit blog entries. One of these days I hope we'll have an updated list.

 

I created an MLP:FiM BGM fan page on Facebook as an alternative to PonyBGM.com, but I'm waiting on Infinity's approval on that as well before I start making it public.

I liked that music when I first heard it and I know that you and Infinity Dash do a wonderful job at getting clean bgm from the show so I figured you would know where the best place to find it would be.
