digital My Ocs [Critiques and toughs requested on my final pieces of art]

I have three oc's that were stay with me for my hole life as a brony, this are their last vectoring works that I would ever do. Tell me what you think and don't be afraid to dis me or the works if you have good arguments to do so  

First is my main OC Sherem, he was there at the beginning of all this madness.

 

Now We have Aerion, the pegasus, he came after Sherem's Creation because he needed a "Friend"

Then Finally we have Kirwen, my frist no pony OC in the mlp word, now I don't know if the wolfs are a confirmed race because I never saw them, but I like to think they are. She was Created last year.

Tell me what you think about them and my "technique" as badly as it can be XD

Sherem appears to have 5 things I tell people they shouldn't for their OCs. Firstly is that he's an Alicorn. I fall into the group that's clearly biased against them so not much of an argument to made against your personal choice. The next two are in regard to the eyes. Different colors and colors that are two bright/warm, such as your red and I'm going to say orange eye. I can kind of get it when people say it's due to dark magic or something but that along with Heterocromia are so prevalent among OCs that it's not even funny. The use of one shade of grey on solid white makes for a very bland palette. Finally, the cutie mark. It's not bad, but there's too much detail, particularly in that ring of symbols. I have no idea what it's supposed to be but text of any form should probably be avoided.

I have just two complaints about Aerion. He should have something else on himself that matches his eyes, and the curves on the mane and tail could use some work. Otherwise I quite like this design. It's something that wouldn't stand out much from the show.

Kirwen has the same hair issues as Aerion and the tail could not only use some color but needs to be completely redone because it kind of just looks like a club style limb at the moment. I like both of the rear legs on their own but they seem mismatched to me. I prefer the one on it's left side because it has a very athletic stance, as though it's ready to spring into action. One feature that I can't get over is the head. It's too cutesy wutesy. That's not the head of a predator. It doesn't have to be aggressive looking but I see a deer's head on a wolf's body.

Well, let me give my toughs on the matter and make some clarifications.

I really don't mind the matter of the alicorns, I really think they are just another race, and if Celestia and Luna prove something, they are just ponies that live longer perhaps but still flawed in sooooooo many ways I just don't get the fandom's drama with it. The two different eyes is a matter of the division of his personalities they are not always like this, most of the time one takes more than the other. The palette yeah, you can say is bland, but somehow I can't bring myself to change it,  maybe it's because I am bland myself. And finally the cm well...there is symbolism around it, but there is an old saying from where I come from "To same minds, few words" those who can get it, they can get it. The rest well, no drama in not getting it.

about Aerion I can totally agree with you, but then again I can't bring myself to change anything about it, and maybe is my novice vectoring doing here.

Perhaps with kirwen, it's more about the body complexion yes, and about the "Cutesy, Wutsey" bit, I belive there is lot of it in the MLP universe, and we haven't been able to seen a real wolf in the show so...I'm taking my "artistic" or crappy liberties around it.

You're right on all this. Also do wolves even exist in mlp? >__>

If there are wooden wolves, why not vanilla wolfs?
