ManaMinori 4,149 November 15, 2018 Share November 15, 2018 (edited) If someone from upon the high seat of Hasbro council admitted to g1, 2, and g3 being part of the same world FiM is in, just earlier on the timeline of things, would it affect how you guys view g4? How would your views change if FiM took place earlier than the generations prior to it? (for instance in a IDW comic Micro #8, we see an adult Celestia interacting with foals from the g1 Era, like Surprise and Firefly) Edited November 15, 2018 by Nightmare Muffin Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub
Ganondorf8 11,705 November 15, 2018 Share November 15, 2018 That might be too big and ambitious of a project for Hasbro to want to consider.
Black Sabbath 2,488 November 16, 2018 Share November 16, 2018 I'd think Hasbro had lost their minds. Like, no offense to the previous generations but aside from the name they're so loosely connected to each other that it's frankly impossible for them to fit in the same universe. I mean, someone could just see the brand and its previous incarnations as all one universe, and just roll with it. There's been theories made considering this, so I can see it as possible, even without the Hasbro word seal of approval Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub
EpicEnergy 23,246 November 18, 2018 Share November 18, 2018 Even if Hasbro officially states that all generations are connected, I personally wouldn't adopt that ideology, just as I don't view EQG and FiM as one canon despite their similarities. Therefore, it wouldn't change my opinion on g4. *totally not up to any shenanigans*
Megas 28,110 November 18, 2018 Share November 18, 2018 Nintendo tried that with Zelda and now the franchise is a huge mess. Hell, Hasbro already tried that with the Aligned Continuity for Transformers and that turned out to be a mess
Thrond 3,271 November 18, 2018 Share November 18, 2018 I probably wouldn’t pay much attention unless they did something interesting with that.

All generations of My Little Pony are meant to act as separate entities whilst having some continuity in terms of core principles and general characteristics. Midnight Solace 5,134 November 19, 2018 Share November 19, 2018 Some older characters have appeared in G4 like Toola Roola and Tirek, but I doubt Hasbro would want to interconnect all the generations. ~Twilight x Midnight~ Ask Midnight I'm not a bad pony...
