Scarlet smiles as she continues to gently stroke Cupcake's mane and ears "Of course you two, and now that I am retired, I am going to have a whole lot more free time available to foalsit her for you" she says with a smile, this smile, was one of kindness and love. She returns her attention to the anime, "The last time I had that concoction was just before we were broken up" she states and sighs, "And as I got older, the soda got replaced with energy drinks, and then they got replaced with alcohol"

Dynamo smiles as the female rabbit gently stroked Cupcake's mane and ears. "I work at the arcade from time to time, but I'll have days where I'm free to help foalsit." He smiles, before raising an eyebrow at Scarlet's statement. "That does bring up a good question. Is there anything you want to do now that you're retired? I know you had other dreams you aspired to be when you grew up, but it's been a while. I guess we can talk about that later. Seeing how we still have a lot of anime to watch." He says, noticing the smile as he returned the smile. He soon frowned as he remembered what she had said. "I wouldn't exactly say broken up, but more along the lines of you having to move away. Granted, we made a promise to have one more marathon of puns, anime and games. The two of us could never break a tradition." He says with a nod, placing a comforting hand upon her shoulder, before continuing. "I kept drinking soda, but try to have water, as well. My mom wouldn't stop telling me that soda isn't good for you. I did have a few energy drinks, but only on special occasions."

Scarlet looked at Dynamo for a moment "To be honest, I never really thought about what I wanted to do once I retired" she says to him, munching on some potato chips "guess a part of me always felt like I would never be able to retire, but now that this case is over with..well, I think I might just want to relax for a while" she says and then looks to Pinkie and Cheese, "as for me, I'd be happy to foalsit anytime, though we may need to wait until we get back from Manehatten" she says.

Pinkie smiles and nods "Of course, you take some time to get everything you need and want"  she says and gently pets the small fluffball that is Milkshake, as she had curled up in her lap and had begun purring.

Dynamo looked to Scarlet and waited patiently, while listening intently to what the female rabbit had to say. "That's understandable when you put it that way, Scar." He says, nodding in understanding on how she felt. "You've been on case after case for such a long time. It's only natural that there might not have been a career to fall back on. Now that you are retired from cases, you can figure out what you want to do. There's plenty of time and it's good to take things nice and easy. Seeing how you just moved back and are taking time to readjust to being home." He say, Cheese nodding in agreement. "I think that's the best course of action. I remember returning to Ponyville after helping in creating new parties. After telling Pinkie how I felt and having Cupcake, I had to take time and find out what I was able to do. That's how I found out about working together with my Pink Cotton Candy with parties." 

Dynamo looked down to see Chocolate had placed his head across Dynamo's and Scarlet's laps. The gaming unicorn chuckled as he gently pet Chocolate on the head, before scratching his ears. "Thanks Pinkie and I think that would be best. It depends on if there's anything we want to visit, while Scar and I are in Manehatten. Once we get back, then we'll definitely plan for when we can foalsit Cupcake."

Scarlet smiles and nods, cuddling up to Dynamo "There's really not all that much to visit in Manehatten, maybe the Boutique and the Players Theater, but other than that, it's actually pretty gray and boring" she says and looks to Cheese "And I am so happy you two got together and had this little cutie" she says gently stroking Cupcake's ears and mane "As for career? Well, maybe I could do a YouTube channel or something?" she suggests to Dynamo "Maybe something along the lines of Creepy Pasta readings or internet mysteries"

Pinkie smiles and nods "I'm really happy we had her too, you two will understand the joys of parenthood in time, I'm sure"

Dynamo listened to the female rabbit's explanation, before nodding with a smile. "That's understandable. I think I visited Manehatten once when it came to school. I think it was because of a school play of sorts. It was a pretty interesting place, but I can see what you mean. I'm guessing the theater is where one would have a play? I think I've heard of the Method Actors group before." He says, while cuddling next to Scarlet. "I think a YouTube channel would be pretty interesting. I've been meaning to try a gaming channel at one point or another." He says, raising an eyebrow in curiosity to her YouTube theme. "That would be pretty cool. There are a lot of Creepy Pasta stories out there. So, it gives you some variety to look through the different stories."

Cheese smiled softly as he nods appreciatively to Scarlet's words. "Thank you and Pinkie and I couldn't be any happier. It's just like what Pinkie had just said. You'll understand in due time when it comes to be parents." Dynamo playfully rolled his eyes with a smirk, before chuckling at Pinkie's statement. "Not you too, Pinkie. First it was our mom's teasing us and now it's our friend telling us. Although, I don't blame you. I look forward to the day that Scar and I can become parents."

Scarlet smiles and nods "I know, I mean, I also look forward to becoming a parent, though all in good time" she says and looks to everyone in the room. It had started to get late and she sees her mother walk in, "I think it's time for a little filly to go to sleep, don't you?" Devin asks with a small smile "Oh and don't worry, Gentle has already said you three can take the spare room here, so that you won't have to take her home while she's sleeping."

Pinkie smiles as she stretches and gets up, "Oh thank you Mrs Devin, come on Cheese sweetie, lets tuck Cupcake in, then we can continue the marathon with Dynamo and Scarlet" she says, gently picking Cupcake up and cradling her in her arms "You did bring her things, didn't you?" she asks him.

Dynamo nods in agreement with a smile. "I'm right there with you, Scar. It's better to see what's out there in the world, before settling down and becoming a parent. Even though our child can go on that journey with us in the future, as well." He says, before noticing a figure entering the darkened dimly lit room. He squinted his eyes to see that it was Devin. "Oh my, I think you're right, Miss Devin." Cheese chuckles, looking down to see Cupcake was starting to fall asleep. "Thank you and Miss Gentle again for the hospitality. We can't thank you enough and hope we can repay you someday." He says, stretching as he stood up from his seat. "That sounds like a plan. Our little Cupcake needs her beauty sleep, after all." He says, watching Pinkie pick up their daughter and cradling the filly in her arms. "You bet your party cannon I did. I brought her both her blankie, her plush and her extra plush, just in case." 

Dynamo chuckled as he grabbed the remote and hit pause. "We'll keep the anime paused, so you both don't miss anything. Just take your time and we'll continue the anime when you both get back." He says, nuzzling the female rabbit as he kissed her cheek. "Maybe we can watch a few more episodes and then maybe turn in for the night. It's been quite a day and I know we'll all potentially be busy tomorrow."

Scarlet smiles a little before pausing the anime and sipping on a soda can. As she sees the two usually bombastic ponies being so kind and caring towards their daughter, she couldn't help but smile. "you know Pinkie, I've always known you to be really bombastic and spontaneous, but to see you like this..it really warms my heart. If a pony such as you can be such a wonderful mother, it gives me hope for my future as a mother."

Pinkie smiles, still cradling Cupcake in her arms "Oh thank you Scarlet, that really means a lot to us" she says "Believe me though, it wasn't easy, learning to settle down and not always be..well as you say, bombastic and spontaneous" she giggles "I think it may have been even harder on Cheese, for me, at least I had both my parents to help me, along with the Cakes"

Dynamo watched and nodded in agreement, while also watching the interaction between Pinkie, Cheese and Cupcake. "It's almost like a complete 180. I know I've been in Ponyville for a long time, but I always remember you both for your hyperactive and enthusiastic personalities. It's truly special to see such a wonderful family and it gives me that hope to be a great father." He says, Cheese chuckling as he smiled softly. "Thanks, you guys. It's really nice to hear that from our friends. It wasn't easy because I stumbled into Ponyville one day and met Pinkie, who had thrown a party for everyone. That's how I knew my destiny was to be a party planning pony. I haven't seen my parents in quite a while, but after meeting and being there for Pinkie's family. I guess I was able to find that balance to being enthusiastic to being kind, calm and caring." He wraps an arm around the pink mare's shoulder as he guided her to the stairway. "Let's go tuck in our little Cupcake. Afterwards, we can watch a few more episodes and rest easy for the evening." He smiles as he kisses to top of Cupcakes head, before placing a soft kiss upon Pinkie's cheek.

Scarlet nods, getting another snack to munch on "I bet it wasn't easy, but go on you two, we can wait" she says, picking Milkshake up and hugging her. Pinkie smiles, carrying Cupcake up to the spare room and tucks her in "Sure is nice of miss Step to give us her spare room" Pinkie says as she hums "Hush Now" to Cupcake, smiling as she sees Cheese give their filly her two plushies. She pulls the blanket up over her and kisses her nose "Sleep well our little angel" she says, noticing that both Milkshake and Chocolate had come to keep her company "Hey you two, want to keep a look out on Cupcake?" she asks with a quiet giggle "good" she hugs them before putting Milkshake on the bed with Cupcake.

Dynamo nodded as he gave Cheese and Pinkie a reassuring look. "I'm sorry all that had happened, but I'm glad you two were able to find each other. You seem to work really well and you both deserve happiness." He says as Scarlet had picked up Milkshake and gave the cat a hug. As they walked into the spare room, Chese nods with a smile as Pinkie tucked Cupcake into the bed. "You can say that again. Both of their mother's remind me of my own mom. Very kind, caring and welcoming to friends. I wonder if they know if Dynamo and Scarlet are the godparents to our Cupcake. We'll definitely let them know. They told us they wanted to be grandmother's, so this is close to a dream of theirs." He chuckled softly as Pinkie hummed "Hush Now" to Cupcake. As they gave the young filly her two plushies, Cheese kissed her forehead as Pinkie pulled the blanket up over Cupcake. "Goodnight and sleep tight, sweetie. Mommy and daddy love you very much." He says, taking notice that Milkshake and Chocolate were accompanying the family in the room. "Aw. Thank you for looking our for our dear, Cupcake." He says as he pets Chocolate as he lays down at the foot of the bed. Keeping watch and guard for Milkshake and Cupcake. "That's just so sweet. It seems that Chocolate and Milkshake have a feeling that Cupcake is their family too." He says, wrapping an arm around Pinkie and holding her close. "Let's go, my love. Let's let them rest and rejoin with the others. We wouldn't want to make them worry too much." He chuckled softly once more as they began walking back towards the living room.

Pinkie smiles "I am sure that mrs Step and miss Devin would love to hear that" she says, gently petting the two animals who had kindly decided to give Cupcake company and security. "From what both Dynamo and Scarlet had told us about these two, they are very protective of small ones, considering that Dynamo had practically grown up with them around" she says, hugging Cheese close in return, following him back to the living room "and with how Scarlet was cuddling our Cupcake earlier, it would make sense for Milkshake and Chocolate to see that Cupcake is a part of the family" she says softly.

Cheese smiles as he gentle scratched Milkshakes cheek and ears. "Then, it's settled. We'll let Miss Step and Miss Devin know in the morning. Seeing how it would be better to make sure they are okay with the idea." He says, chuckling slightly as he heard Milkshake purring softly. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It's like Cupcake has a second, or even a third blanket. Chocolate and Milkshake are definitely the protective type when it comes to those they see as family." He says, turning off the light, but leaving the door opened slightly ajar for a source of light. As they made their way back towards the living room, he nods in agreement as they entered the living room and retook their original seats. "Welcome back, you guys. I hope Cupcake, Milkshake and Chocolate are okay." He says, Cheese nodding with a reassuring smile. "Everything is absolutely perfect. Cupcake is sound asleep and both Milkshake and Chocolate are keeping watch over her. That is, unless you count cuddling and sleeping a part of keeping watch." He chuckled as he looked back towards the TV. "So, are we going to continue the marathon, or not? We still have a few more episodes to complete, right?" He asks, Dynamo chuckling with a nod in agreement. "He's got a point. The party pony stallion has spoken. It is now time to continue the marathon. Be on the lookout for more puns!" He exclaims in a hushed whisper.

Scarlet giggles "Yep, that certainly sounds like Milkshake and Chocolate. Its one of the reasons I love them so much, just how loving and caring they are with the small ones, especially Cupcake" she says and nods as she resumes the anime they were watching "I think there's at least three more episodes that we can go through tonight" she says with a smiles "It is getting quite late, and Dynamo and I have a lot to plan out tomorrow" she says, sipping on her soda.

Dynamo nods with a chuckle in agreement. "They are even loving and caring to those they've known for a very long time. It's why they are so happy to see Scarlet and I when they are with us. It just shows how much of a connection we have with them." He says, taking a drink of his soda as they resumed the anime. "Three episodes aren't too bad. I know that is around the end of the first season, or something like that. I think that's when the main character learns of her true destiny of being a Card Captor." He says, eyes widening in realization. "Oh, so that's why the anime is titled like that. It took me long enough to realize that." He chuckles, Cheese nodding in understanding to the couple's plans. "If that's the case, then should we watch the anime and shows later? You did say you both had to go to Manehatten tomorrow. I wouldn't want you two to rush around, while feeling tired and exhausted. It's a time to celebrate that you can finally retire and relax." He says, caring and worrying about the well being of his friends.

Pinkie smiles and nods "We've got some planning ourselves to do tomorrow as well, so I think that 3 more episodes is a good stopping point" she states "I think we can also possibly make this a monthly thing?" she says with a smile "what do you three think?"

Scarlet smiles and nods along to what Pinkie was saying, sipping on her soda some more "I think a monthly thing sounds good, that way it's something that we can all look forward to and it won't get old and boring quick"

Cheese tilted his head in confusion, while counting on his fingers of what he and Pinkie had planned. His eyes soon shrank as realization had dawned upon him. "Hmm...let's see. Carry the two, add the three and divide by Cheese and Pie. Oh, that's right!" He exclaims in a soft whisper, before continuing. "We have to start planning out the giant party for both Dynamo and Scarlet. A couple's reunion, retirement and godparents party. Oh, that sounds like one of the challenging kind of parties. One, that I happily accept as an awesome challenge." He smirked, while rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

Dynamo chuckled at Cheese's reaction and nods in agreement. "So, I guess three episodes is the perfect stopping point. Besides, we wouldn't want to fall asleep and miss any other episode that might appear after these three." He says, nodding wholeheartedly at the suggestion made by Pinkie. "I don't see why not. It's always good to have that sort of tradition going on. Plus, we can always get more friends to join in on the pun and random shenanigans. After all, the more the merrier." He says, finishing the rest of his soda, before placing the can on the coffee table.

Some time later, they had arrived at the end of the third and final episode of the first season, and Scarlet had curled up against Dynamo. Pinkie had also curled up against Cheese. Scarlet smiles as she switches off the television "Hmm, do you think your mom would mind if we cleaned up tomorrow instead of now?" she asks, "I'm so tired, I think I'd probably trip over my own paws if I had to concentrate on tidying up" she giggles.

As the third episode to the anime had come to a close, Dynamo had looked to Scarlet, who was curled up against him. Throughout the three episodes, he had rested his head against her head, while trying to keep his eyes open. Cheese Sandwich smiled as he cuddled up against the pink mare next to him. As the female rabbit had turned off the TV, Dynamo rubbed his eyes as he listened to Scarlet's question. "I don't think she'll mind. I sometimes forget to pick up my soda cans or paper plates for dinner from the night before. So, I think it'll be better if we clean the snacks up tomorrow." He chuckled as he couldn't blame the female rabbit. "While I would be against the whole leaving a mess upon the coffee table. I will, however, have to agree with the form of logic. Pinkie and I can be tired from time to time, as well." He chuckled tiredly, while rubbing the sleep from his tired eyes. "I think that's fair enough. We'll start cleaning up everything in the morning and then we'll all be set to begin our day." Dynamo says, before turning towards Scarlet and taking her paw into his hand. "Ready to head off to sleep and go on a trip tomorrow, my love?" He asks, while Cheese turned towards Pinkie. "I guess it's time to hit the hay. We got a lot of birthdays/parties to plan for the next week or so. I look forward to it because I'm with my favorite party planning pony." He smiles as he leans over to kiss Pinkie on the cheek.

Scarlet nods and smiles as she looks to Dynamo "Alright, so long as well clean up tomorrow morning" she says and stretches, making her way to their room, passing the guest room. She smiles as she takes a peek in and sees her two beloved animals snuggled up to and watching over Cupcake. "Good" she says softly before making her way towards her room.

Pinkie who  was following close behind went into the room and smiles, checking on Cupcake before getting ready for sleep.

Dynamo turns to Scarlet and nods at her remark. "You've got a deal, honey. Besides, I'll be up early because I have trouble falling back to sleep. So, I'll be up early to clean up the mess. That way, our mother's won't know we all left a mess and they won't be mad." He stretched as the group walked up the steps to their rooms. As they passed by the guest room, Dynamo watched as the female rabbit had peeked in the room, while noticing her smile. He looked into the room to see Chocolate and Milkshake were snuggled up to Cupcake, while keeping watch over her. "That's so sweet." He whispered in agreement, before following the female rabbit to the room.

As they followed Dynamo and Scarlet, Cheese followed Pinkie into the guest room to check on their daughter. He smiled softly as the animals were resting next to Cupcake. He walked over to the spare bed as he got under the covers and was ready to go to sleep.

-hours later in the early morning-

Scarlet would feel the warmth of the sun that was shining through the window hitting her fur. She stretches and wiggles her tail "Mm D-Pad honey?" she asks, looking around and then realizing that Dynamo must've woken up earlier. She smiles and stretches once more, looking around for some clothes, sighing as she was still yet to unpack, she settled for one of Dynamo's tshirts that she literally swam in. She made her way to the living room and smiles, hugging him from behind "Good morning honey" she says into his ear "Hard at work cleaning up already?" she asks then sees Pinkie and Cheese come down with Cupcake.

"Hey guys, we wanted to say thanks for last night and say bye before we left, oh and tell your moms the news, or at least be there while you tell them" Pinkie greets them.

-hours later in the early morning-

As a new day had soon begun, Dynamo's eyes had opened as he wondered what time it was. He squinted his eyes to look out the window to see it was still nighttime. However, upon further inspection, he saw on the alarm clock that it was still fairly early. He pouted slightly as he knew this was the reason he hated being a morning pony. His ears perked as he could hear a light snoring in his room. He looked around, until he saw Scarlet was cuddled up right next to him. He smiled softly as he leaned over and lightly kissed her forehead. He carefully untangled himself from the cuddle/hug and decided that it would be a good idea to clean up the living room.

As he quietly exited the room and walked down the steps, he entered the living room to see the mess was still in place. He soon noticed that the mess wasn't as bad as he would have imagined. He assumed that they were tired and thought the mess was more of a hassle than initially thought. He took a deep breath, stretched and sighed as he got right to work. It took him around a half hour to collect the snack bags, soda cans and paper plates, before throwing everything in the kitchen trash can. After inspecting to see the living room was spotless, he was momentarily surprised as he felt someone hug him from behind. After hearing that it was his girlfriend. he smiled as he turned around and returned the hug. "Good morning sweetheart. You can also say that. I woke up earlier than I expected. It's the curse of being a morning pony. However, I thought it would be better safe than sorry on cleaning the living room." He says as he kissed her softly. As he pulled back from the kiss, he noticed that the female rabbit was wearing one of his t-shirts. "You look really cute, honey. The anime shirt suits you, in my opinion."

As they heard footsteps coming from the steps, Dynamo looked to see Pinkie, Cheese and Cupcake make their way to the living room. "Pinkie's right. We have a lot to take care of when we get home. So, we'll have to make an early exit. We just wanted to let you both know so we didn't leave out of nowhere. Are Miss Steps and Miss Devin up? If not, then you can tell them the news later, if that's okay."

Scarlet smiles "I know my mom isn't much for mornings, and as for Miss Steps..Can't say if she's anything like Dynamo" she says and smiles "Regardless, thanks for letting us know, maybe what we can do is tell them that they need to see you about something later and you can surprise them with the news while we're out at Manehatten?" she suggests.

Pinkie smiles "Oooh yes, surprise them like that, I like it" she giggles and looks to Cheese "Come on dearest, lets get Cupcake home and start our planning" she says, kissing his cheek before looking at the other two "Thanks again for last night, it was loads of fun"
