Like I already said about the CMC distracting Cozy Glow in S8 Finale despite it being a small part, it shouldn't matter how much screen time a character gets or how big their role is. What's important is that they contribute to helping to restore harmony and friendship, no matter how small. Because it's the right thing to do, not for fame and fortune.

Oh if only it were that easy.... if this show didn't rely so much on magical friendship connections, I'd agree, but all these groups seem to be connected in a certain way. Mane Six with the Elements, Pillars have their items, Student 6 have... I dunno the artifacts and now the Tree, the CMCs have their cutie marks.... what sorta magical connections do other characters like Starlight and her group of friends have, or Spike and his group? Trust me, if this show didn't rely so much on magical connections, this wouldn't be a problem. But that's not what this post is about!

No, it's just that I think I'm finished with Spike after Sweet and Smoky, after knowing what he's getting there.

Mane 6. They’re the main characters, this is their show, it should be they’re last hurrah. Anyone else would be extremely disappointing

I agree with @This Whomps. I think you are being very petty complaining about being done with Spike after that episode. I keep telling people to wait until they see the whole episode before giving final judgement on it. And to respect the people who love an episode that is hated by majority.

Back on topic, everyone has a chance to be a hero and even if they miss their chance, that doesn't make them wasted potential. Since in-universe, the heroes should be heroes not for fame and fortune but for doing what's right.

Wow Starlight and the mane 6 are tied I’m very surprised then again lots of people love Starlight now so I guess I shouldn’t be to surprised as for who should be the hero for the finale. Starlight of course. Thou I like the mane 6 to play a role to. As well as spike and the Cmcs

All of the above. I think that they will try and give everyone some element of something to do that furthers the main goal. 

I also see at least one of the Legion betraying Grogar.

Maybe a little bit cliche idea but I thought it would be nice if the villain would get a change of heart and betray Grogar.
