Square Enix was the only company that has been getting good press from their E3 offerings, delivering on the FFVII Remake among other things, which was arguably the most hyped game on the show. On top of that there was a lot to show about existing games as well as some surprises people didn't expect, like the various DQ games coming out, they finally revealed their Avengers game, Final Fantasy VIII is finally getting a remaster, lots of games coming to the US for the first time like Romancing Saga 3 and Trials of Mana, and the most important thing, there was gameplay for most of them! Square's conference was packed especially if you were a fan of JRPGs. To say it's as bad or worse than Ubisoft or Microsoft is some hyperbole, especially when they didn't waste time showing a fucking car or a dancing segment(though I don't think MS was bad, just really mediocre)

I agree that Nintendo had the best show, but Square Enix helped save E3 from being a total bust. Heck I've seen some people say theirs was even better than Nintendo's, which I honestly can't blame them for

Where have you been seeing this? DOOM 2016 has gotten nothing but universal acclaim across the board from both fans and critics alike. Everywhere I go I see nothing but love for it. In fact the only things I remember being controversial was the multiplayer being crap(which was obviously tacked on), and things outside of the game's control, like the poor boxart and the game's embargo on release date, which looking back at it, was just a result of Bethesda not having much faith in the game

I had hopes for seeing a new legit Paper Mario 

anyway, Ganondorf is returning in BOTW 2. BOTW was some good shit, but I think the newly introduced to the franchise open world could be further exploited. Hope this one delivers. 

I’m not fond of the English dub of BOTW, but if there’s one thing I thank for visiting Bolivia and being a son of immigrants, is that I know Spanish, and I also heard the joys of many Latin American dubs, with it’s Goku voice being THE Goku voice. Thankfully, BOTW’s Latin American dub kicks major ass. Can’t wait to hear Ganondorf’s voice in there. I hope his actor is a Mexican horse, like most of the cast in BOTW as an added bonus
