I'm not good at shadows and I'm working on their heads being bobbles but any advice?  This is one of my OCs named Cinnamon Swirl...ignore her little tail, I cant decide to go small or big. The darker color is the one I drew previously and posted on here. I wanted her to be lighter in color.

For shadows, think what kind of shados you want. Cell shaded kind of shadows are pretty popular (like in animes) and you dont need to struggle to make them

Regarding the shading, you've got a pretty good eye for what shadows go where--that's the hardest part! I(I'm also really digging her colors~)

As for the technique itself, it can use some more practice. I'd be happy to help you out if you want some tips on that! But first I need to know how you do it now. When you shade, how do you select the color of shadow you want? Do you eye-dropper the base color and just darken it a tad? Also, what art program do you use?
