mega thread How are you feeling?

Exhausted. 

I've been up and going since about midnight, running on 3 hours of sleep, and it looks like I might have to do it again tonight.

Kinda thoughtful, I think I get so worried for people that I never think to consider appreciating the person they are now and get curious to know who they are in this point in their life. People will grow their own ways and I don't think my thoughts respect other people's integrity enough.

In some ways it feels like another form of asserting covert control rather than just being there for someone as they handle stages in their life on their own terms.

You know what, I'm the exact same way! There are the exceptions of people who don't wanna change, but most genuinely try to and it's not fair to judge them for something they aren't anymore. I understand how hard it is not to worry though, since it's almost comforting to be used to the idea of what people were since it seems like the best way not to get hurt.

Part of personal growth though is letting some things go. You won't always have to have the same fears and doubts forever.

That's an interesting takeaway from what I said because what I had in mind was them not being who I think they could be in the future rather for who they are right now, but I think it goes the other way into what you say too, about who they are not anymore.  It all comes down to fear of uncertainty doesn't it?

Ooh, my bad! Well I understand that frustration, too. Yes, it does! It's definitely one of my worst fears but it's unavoidable, cause that's just how life works.

Me: fulfilled, I guess is applicable here – have reassembled the BSA Bantam for hopefully the final time.  

But will it actually work.....

Yeah I was just doing something else and I was like crap I have a meeting in five minutes that I lead lol.

today appears okay so i feel okay too,

went to the zoo after stuff and i saw one my colleagues there and then after i had icecream at the icecream parlor and for saturday i made plans with another colleague to go see a movie and have dinner for saturday. I'll have something to look forward to.
