mega thread How are you feeling?

Have a new person at work today, spent only one or a few days doing her job with help. Has now been forced to do it on her own for two days now, and still struggles with it. I come in early each day and help out. But she never finishes on time (not her fault) and I always start latter. Much latter in today's case. Now I'm glad for the OT, but I know, for a fact, other people at work will complain about me even though it's not my fault or the new guys. It the complainers, who take the easy way out and carp, rather than wading in to help! Gods help me.

Trust me,  we are soooo short staffed right now and its the same thing we got going:  

 

Count Down mode!   I got 3 shifts left before my move!! So kinda happy!

Scared that people may take what I say out of context sometimes if I stutter or stumble on words out my mouth, or even in typos. I've been having problems with my speech lately, when that happens we don't just hear static or clicks or pops from typical glitching of an audio system, instead what happens is something gets said differently. People with a preconceived bias about you would twist what you say against you anyway, but when it becomes a matter of a misunderstanding it can be a bigger problem.

Feeling excited that I'm off for a vacation over at the snowy mountain ranges tomorrow, for four days I'll be over there, down at the ski slopes, tobogganing, snowman, just about all the fun stuff in the snow.

They're pretty much an extreme rarity in Victoria, Australian mountain tops, so there's not much to worry about.

Angry and sad. My mother is going through a lot today, fear of her book AND of her missing wallet. So what does she do when things get tough on her? What she always does: Goes on a rampage. Walks around stressed, huffing and puffing, yelling, not asking for help BUT getting mad when people don't help her. I'm lucky as in a few minutes I'll dissapear from all this drama for work soon, but my poor sibling will have to sit through it with our dad. Gods give us strength.....

Update: Damn wallet was found. Now all the chaos will end. For today.

Hmm anxious and annoyed… my patience’s running very thin with the norms society of workplace expectations bs and management. My mind going “enlist now” but I have to be 100% certain and patience by the given schedule/pace that I have set myself. While at the same, knowing this is just my “survival/fleeting” side speaking.
