Clouds eyes shot open to the sound, he quickly rolled of the couch and ran to the window and peered out, trying to see who made the noise.

Rose slowly walked towards Cloud with pain painted on her face. She quietly said,

 

"No use looking... The owner is already dead."

Cloud sighed and dropped his head. "Why?" was all he said as he looked at Rose with sad eyes.

Rose couldn't bear seeing another pony so said, let alone this colt. Looking towards the floor she said,

 

"Evil... evil has finally won"

Colt slowly opened his eyes,"uggh, is it still raining fire outside?" he said groggrily still hanging upsidedown

Cloud didn't know why to say or do, instead he pressed against her side comfortingly. "We can't say that... we have to stay strong" he told her.

Rose slightly blushed once again, and smiled back at him.

 

"It's hard not to give up hope, y'know."

Cloud returned the smile and nodded, "I know. That's why it's always best to have somepony by your side. When all else fails, those close to your heart will give you the most hope."

Rose turned away quickly as to hide the heat rushing to her cheeks. She quickly thought,

*What did he mean by that...*

"i wish i woke up in another women's house under different circumstances" Colt joked, he attempted to unfasten the devices that hung him from the celling, but then just gave up

Cloud was worried that he freaked her out, he sighed and looked back out the window.

Rose turned her head to look back at Cloud, who had turned to the window. She stared at him for a few minutes, oddly confused at why she was doing this. Much to her surprise, she could not stop staring.

Colt eventually unfastened himself and fell to the floor, with a thud

 

"owwww"

Flynn stirred slowly as he heard a faint "oww" coming from the room. He turned to look at his back, covered in spots of ashy black fur, and shivered from waking up. "...good morning I guess..."

Cloud felt eyes on him, and turned to look at Rose, a blush showed on his cheeks. He had to admit she was very pretty. He chuckled quietly and smiled, "Take a picture Rose. It'll last longer" he said

Rose turned her face away to avoid his gaze.

"If only!"

 

Hearing a small voice, Rose turned to face Cricket. She slowly walked over to him and knelt on the ground.

"Are you ok?"

"Considering what happened, things could be better..." Flynn said, slowly rising up despite wobbling a lot in place. "Other than that, I'm feeling dandy. I'd also like to thank you for letting us stay here again." he bowed his head in respect. "Don't know what would've happened if we were left out any longer."

Rose felt a wide grin spread across her face. She happily returned with,

 

"No problem, really. I'm happy you guys are here now. There is no way I would of survived by myself"

Flynn bowed his head again, as he started to stretch, as he let a sly smile curl his lips. "...now, I believe you got some other business to attend to with... Cloud, I assume his name is?"

Colt got up and put on his coat, and put on his hat and sunglasses, he then removed the sticky hooks and boots and placed them in his jacket and walked in the living room "is it still raining fire outside?"

Rose felt her cheeks turn red again as Cricket spoke these words. Putting her mane over her face she softly said,

 

"I-I don't know what you're talking about!"

Electrobolt slowly began to stir, waking up eventually. He began to look around, his vision still a bit hazy from just waking up. Carefully rubbing his hooves on his eyelids, he opened them once again, seeing everything better now. As he looked around the room, he saw Rose, Cloud, Colt, and Flynn. Getting up to stretch, he said, "Morning..." He didn't really have anything else to say for the minute, so he stretched out some.

"Haha, case and point Ma'am." Flynn said as he chuckled and turned to Electrobolt. "Good mornin' green pony. I assume you slept well?"

Rose watched cricket walk away with her cheeks still red. She thought to herself,

*Whatever did he mean...?*

"Nah, no more fire" replied Cloud. He looked at Electrobolt and said "morning dude"
