No response from the house that he tried to enter, Maynard took off, in search of shelter, and his beloved sling. He started to question the world around him.

Why is this happening? Why won't anyone help me? WHY?!

"I think I screwed my leg up, too," she muttered sheepishly.

 

"You as well? Let me take a look at it." Flynn said as he crawled over to Rain's right, and slowly started poking at her right hindleg. "Tell me where it hurts."

Rain gestured to the upper part of her leg. "Right there. I might have pulled it when I was...you know...dragging myself across the ground."

Alexandrite got up and heard the survivor again, "I'm over here under these planks! I can't get out!" Alexandrite yelled.

 

Upon hearing this, he charged over to where the voice called and approached the mess of planks. "Hold on, I'll help you get out," he responded, as he began to move the planks off of the surviving pony's back, as quickly as possible without trying to injure the pony any further. *Phew... Thank goodness I got here in time...* he thought, still moving the planks.

"Alright then." Flynn said, as his horn started to glow blue. "Now I need you to stay still. This is gonna get cold." A similiar blue haze appeared around Rain's leg, trying to cool down the pain from pulling her muscle.

Rain squirmed a little but stayed still, watching carefully. "That already feels better...thank you!" she smiled at him.

Colt stood up and asked "just out of curiosity, am the only one who isnt badly injured?"

Rain squirmed a little but stayed still, watching carefully. "That already feels better...thank you!" she smiled at him.

 

"It's a cooling spell." Flynn mentioned, focusing on the area. "Since I don't want to use ice right now, and I don't want to go through that wingsuit of yours, this'll be a good subsitute." he turned to Cloud and eyed his wing. "Hey, you still want me to help your wing out?"

Cloud smile and nodded, "Yes please" he said chuckling as he slowly extended his burned wing. Some places were featherless and exposed his burned wing flesh.

"It's a cooling spell." Flynn mentioned, focusing on the area. "Since I don't want to use ice right now, and I don't want to go through that wingsuit of yours, this'll be a good subsitute." he turned to Cloud and eyed his wing. "Hey, you still want me to help your wing out?"

 

Rain smiled again, sadly. "Thanks. Mr. Breezy bought me this one, it's a personal favourite..."

She also looked at Cloud. "Sorry I couldn't do much else earlier."

''How long has it been?'' Said Splinter as looking at the clock on his hoof. ''3 hours... Chaos has been raining for 3 hours... and half of Equestria has already been turned to shreds.'' Said Splinter as shrugging. ''Or maybe I've gone 100% insane.'' Said Splinter as rubbing his chin. ''That could be an option.'' Said Splinter.

"Thanks for the help fellow survivor, by the way whats your name?" Alexandrite questioned.

 

After moving the last plank off, Electrobolt sat down as he looked back at the pony he helped. "My name is Electrobolt," he responded to the pony's question. "What about you?" Looking around, he realized they were sitting in the very place where this pony had been covered by planks. "Um... Maybe we should also find some shelter too..." he suggested, not wanting to linger around this area for too long, lest they both get covered by debris.

Rain smiled again, sadly. "Thanks. Mr. Breezy bought me this one, it's a personal favourite..."

She also looked at Cloud. "Sorry I couldn't do much else earlier."

 

"Ah... that's nice of him. Looks well good." Flynn turned to Cloud. "Alright then, I'm gonna need some medical supplies, but I have enough magic to SOMEWHAT fix you for a little bit until you get proper treatment. Will that work?"

Cloud smiled kindly at Rain, "It's ok, you tried, that's all that counts" he said. He looked outside at the fire rain, and his smile faded, "How could this happen to us?" he said sadly. He turned to Flynn, "Whatever will help doc" he said

Rain nodded, sadly. "Does anyone know who's behind it, anyways?"

Rain nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, I don't know of anyone else like him...but killing mindlessly like this isn't his style..."

"Then what are the chances of the enemy being a lot more destructive than we thought?" Flynn said, as he stopped using his magic on Rain to let her stretch. "Alright, now I need you to not strain yourself anymore than you did. Try stretching it a LITTLE bit."

 

Flynn turned to Cloud, who's mangled wing made him very nervous - he could sometimes get queasy around hurt body parts. "Alright, can you come here Cloud?"

Nodding, Electrobolt said, "Nice to meet you too, Alexandrite, and I think I know the house that you're talking about." He proceeded to follow, anyways, so he would be nearby instead of possibly wandering too far ahead of Alexandrite. As they were walking, he decided to ask, "Um... Hey, do you mind if I call you Alex...?"

Rain moved her leg slowly. "Like that?" she asked, and then glanced at Splinter.

"Yeah, but Luna's back to normal, and Chrysalis needs love to survive. Why would she create a chaotic environment if she can't get anything from it?"
