Music Help?

I see all the great music bronies make and I was thinking I should give a try at it. I have no Experience and am using Ardour as my studio. I was hoping to make Eurobeat style music, but I would like help if any pony is willing. I have no clue what to do, and am willing to take baby steps to learn.

I'm trying to get my music making friend on the forums, but he won't join! If he eventually joins ( he's working on his first pony song and may join to show it) I'll let you know.
