Alexandrite took some soil and mixed it around into an interesting formation and handed it to the officers, "If you'll excuse me, me and my assistants have to go." said Alexandrite, walking away.

The officer accepted the soil, still with his eyebrow raised

"alright, but i have my eye on you..."

Once out of earshot from the officers Starbolt slows down.

"Ohh my head that spell i do always leaves a nasty headache."

"I wouldent recommend it. It will probably attract unwanted attention."

Starbolt stopped walking and leaned on a nearby wall.

"Can we stop walking for a bit casting that spell was tiring."

From what the other ponies could see Starbolt was obviously not well.

"Well, that was a wake up call," Said Rook as the officers walked away, "our Lives are on the line here."

 

Rook looked at starbolt, "can you do the spell now?'

Starbolt looked at Rook and simply asked "What spell?"

"If its about the rock i already got the information its from around the outskirts of Equestria." Said Starbolt

Having a hard time standing she sat down on the ground.

"That whisper spell really is hard to do im glad i dident faint in front of those officers."

"I would try again but i dont think i can cast another spell."

(OOC Rook seems to ignore the fact that Starbolt is extremely drained from casting the whisper spell earlier.)

"I don't know yet, however if we can find the order for the soil we might be able to track him down." Alexandrite replied.

Seems kinda broad.. I don't think a gravel dealer would remember something like this. This little piece of gravel could be a complete dead end. You're a scientist, what is the rock made of?" Rook wasn't used to taking charge like this, but Doodle seemed to be taking a back seat in the investigation part of this.

"The university occasionally buys rare soil for study and the only place to buy rare soil around this area is in a soil shop in Canterlot." replied Alexandrite to Rook.

"What is it made of? The compounds might mean something... and I guess we should check the gravel dealer" Rook said

"Well lets get going. I think i can walk" Said Starbolt eagerly.

"My magic isent that strong Rook." Said Starbolt smiling.

"Sorry," Said Rook, "And we should go to canterlot in the morning, by train. Actually, we could split up. Have some ponies go to canterlot and some stay here and investigate."

'I just up its not with Splinter theres something unsettling about him.' Thought Starbolt.
