Yep, yep, i know.  The second paragraph wasn't targeted to you. I just wanted to say, that the hamburger icon, that opens the drawer menu on mobile is dark on a somewhat dark background, thus is a bit harder to see, just like notifications and all icons used to be at first after the upgrade.

The top bar on pc has been turned to white, hamburger on mobile remains dark.

Not a big issue, although it looks kinda meh that way.

Not impossible, though there are many issues that would need to be addressed in a native dark theme that I wasn't initially aware of. It is at least still on the 'things to research' list.

I can't access any of the characters I have stored in the character archives. Every time I try to open a page, I get a "Something went wrong."

Edit: Just tried clicking on that link to Choco Delight, my OC's, character page but got the same thing.

I can see them. You can't. Buffy and other cast characters can't. It's not a permissions issue.  I may just need to rebuild the page.

@Sparklefan1234 Well, my friend, at least you do receive something. I receive nothing at all since 20th of December or so despite having some boxes checked for email notifications. Still waiting for help.

Speaking of which, the icons for SUPPORT and TESTING FORUM are currently half-transparent. What is that supposed to mean?

That means, that you don't have any unread contents there - that you've read everything in these sections. These icons also serve as buttons to mark all contents in the subforums as read. If you've already viewed everything, the icon/button cannot be pressed and becomes semi-transparent.

 

What is happening with these notifications though... some big brain sorcery is going on there

I believe it's unlikely, that the problem is on your end, given you say, that everything else works and the fact, that we did check some settings on your end. If you'd be thinking of checking more things on your end regardless, just to be absolutely sure, then I think it would be easier to just use another email, if you happen to have any.  It would be simple - still no emails? blame forums; did get email? blame Google.
