Forum Update Completed - Issue List

The upgrade is complete and we are on the most current and secure version of Invision .... there are a fair amount of changes that I am working through. Some visual and some functional. I can't itemize all of them at the moment, but here are some significant user facing bugs. 

 

Current issues being looked at. 

Investigate donor tab settings / configuration for possible user controls

Remove user badge when a special badge is being used

Mobile user post container missing date

Mobile user post container brohoof count is back. 

 

 

Obscured Follow button on desktop profile

Obscured/Hidden message button on desktop profile

Missing date on mobile view

The RP Character Database is not working (again). 

Banner and dynamic backgrounds are not 100% where we want them.  

Hidden reputation selector.

 

These are what I am working on at the moment. There is a lot and I will update this as needed since people do visit here for news. Feel free to point out any issues you see. While I did try as many features as possible, I can't catch everything, so it is helpful if you let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary. If it is something that is working as intended, I will let you know.

Reactions aren't functioning on my end, but I'm not sure if that's happening to anyone else.

When using Dark Mode some areas still appear white as well as the boxes around replies.

Same for me. I pretty much have to guess where the reactions are and (maybe) I'll get the selector to show up.

We don't have a Dark Mode theme.

Yes. This is certainly on the recent to do list in the near future.

Another thing — the front page (I’m on mobile right now, so I don’t know what desktop looks like) appears to be missing a few things, like birthdays, new status updates, and new topics. (Unless I’m tired and just missing them.)

1. Reaction selector is invisible/white.
2. Banner way too small.
3. User function typography in the upper right-hand corner is in its default color (black).
4. All the links/hyperlinks are in their default color (black) unless the cursor hovers above them.

Just noticed a weird gap here between the top bar and the rest of the forums.

- profile pages look cluttered you have to scroll down lots before you can even make a status update while the rest looks huge 

-it’s hard to find the brohoof button 

- I can’t see bdays on frontpage 

- can’t see recent status updates on frontpage 

- banner looks tiny

My recent profile visitors tab is WAY down at the bottom of my profile. 

Also, this isn't a BIG issue but I wish the bell icon was easier to see.
