There is nothing planned beyond Apollo's death, so that's probably where the story will end unless you have ideas on where else it could go.

There's several ways it could go really, as it's a shame to just toss the setting.

There's the aftermath, where the various forces have to try and pass their tensions, from fighting, as well as adjust after Apollo's death.

There's excursions to the surface that can be made too, where they hunt for survivors potentially.

There is the thing with Aurum, and having to get used to living here, and come to terms with what she is. And the implications thereof.

There's potential bonding experiences that can be had, such as how Blitz are trying to get along with Plein, or Last and Spiral.

There's the option too for instance, to have more Evergrown show up, and them maybe establishing something of a understanding, and new way forth. If they're from the original home like Briar, they'd be apprehensive about his mutated kind especially, but just in general, there'd be growing pains, from having to connect with other races, as very few actively interacted with outsiders, for centuries.

There are also always the final option, of skipping to when The Æther will actually be landing. A travel 20 years in the making, to a world they'd have to explore, and readjust to. That's a big setting to make use of right there.

These are just off of the top of my head. I don't see a point in tossing away a fine setup, just cause the OG story have run its course.

We could do a combination of those. We can let the current situation as it is play out, and after Apollo's planned death the characters themselves will sort out the aftermath. Depending on what happens with Red, the Equestrians who are fighting will be an ongoing threat. I can imagine that Maud and Play Write would take control of the ship while fighting their way through. 

I am thinking Spiral could give the Thestraulium to Maud and she could be the one to take Apollo out because she is the one who formally announced taking leadership of the Equestrians and it would be more symbolic at that rate. 

Right now, Spiral is just trying to get Red weakened to the point where she could go in and give Maud the thestraulium.

In the aftermath, we'd likely have the various Equestrians loyal to Maud strike some kind of leadership with the Trojans so they could lead together. If the amount of Equestrians in the fighting was enough to where a faction of Equestrians loyal to Maud wasn't tenable, Maud would seek to lead alongside Play Write.

We can let the whole aftermath itself settle out, and then re-convene afterward, and then skip 20 years in the future?

Just shooting out ideas here.

The area they're in is hallways, it's hard to not be close to the action here, and Silver has extra mobility comparable to a pegasus, so distance is a non-issue.

I should clarify, Apollo WILL kill Maud if she is not freed from his grasp, stabbing him in the back will more likely cause him to crush, rather than release.

Here's a hint: Thestralium and Minostralium don't interact well.

Second hint, Apollo's talons are coated in Minostralium.

Make of that what you will.

Alright, I think we're in a good place to take a bit of a break? Or are there lingering plot threads that you must see resolved?

I don't intend to leave this for good, but I do need a break. I'm thinking we can pick it back up after New Years if you two are still interested? I think we'll go with a more serialized story going forward, where rather than doing slice of life we'll come up with a situation then play it out. This will keep me from having to keep track of simultaneous stories and characters, and will allow you to switch out which characters you want to play as depending on the scene. Does that sound good?

Sounds perfectly fine to me. I would like to have some sort of scene where the characters take command of the project and deal with the aftermath. But we do not have to roleplay that all the way out, it can just be more or less described in a post sometime in the future to the scenes as they are now. 

I do not find myself interested in playing Trixie currently, I do not know what to do with her.

Maud and Merlot interest me the most. Spiral would more or less be willing to do anything Maud does, and I figure that she'd get something out of having be the one to have defeated Apollo. We can definitely take a break, but do you mind discussing things and planning out stuff for the future here?
