animation Anime You Love

I know that there a lot of people on here that loves Anime and Manga as much as I do, and thus I thought I'd make a a thread discussing our favourite anime.

For me, I enjoy anime where the main character/s aren't whiney kids with little to no character growth. A character being sullen due to a dark past is different, just putting it there, here are some of my favorites:

1. Saiyuki
2. Negima: Magister Negi Sprinfield (Granted at the beginning he's a bit of a whiner, but he has character growth)
3. Black Cat
4. My Hero Academi (Same with Negima, whiney at start but has character growth)
5. Bleach
6. Sword Art Online
7. Fairy Tale
8. Full Metal Alchemist

It's been a while since I've sat down and watched a good anime. When I do it's usually either an older anime(typically 80s to 90s) or one I watched a while back or when I was growing up.

My favorite anime:
Gurren Lagann
Dragon Ball series(I really need to get back to Super)
G Gundam
Fullmetal Alchemist
Yu Yu Hakusho
Digimon
Cardcaptor Sakura
Sailor Moon
Fist of the North Star
Yugioh
Cowboy Bebop
Ruroni Kenshin
Big O
Fooly Cooly
Trigun
Cyborg 009
Outlaw Star
Saint Seiya

Kinda tells you the kinda person I am as far as anime tastes go

I've flaunted my love for Fullmetal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin, Hunter X Hunter, Black Butler, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure right in my profile, so to cover some more series I love...

-Dragon Ball

-Naruto

-Demon Slayer

-Yu-Gi-Oh!

-Yu Yu Hakusho

I still keep up with Dragon Ball and Naruto despite the fact that a lot of people do not like Super and Boruto, I'm super sad that Demon Slayer has already ended, having been a fan of it even before I found out it was a big thing, I've been a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! longer than literally any anime/manga series I've ever been a fan of, going to be seventeen years soon, and I've recently come back to Yu Yu Hakusho, something I used to just like, to satiate my Hunter fix (why oh why can't it just come back from its hiatus already), and now it's something I absolutely love.

On that note, if we were to go over every series that I just liked...we'd be here all day. :nom:

Most of my favorites are the feature length variety. My favorites among them are:

Your Name, (greatest of all time)

From Up On Poppy Hill,

Whisper of the Heart,

Howl’s Moving Castle,

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

My favorite anime series include:

Girls und Panzer, (my absolute favorite)

Drifting Dragons,

Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions, (considering the subject matter is strictly for humor, it’s very funny).

Gun Gale Online,

Cells At Work,

School Live, (just started this one but already loving it)

Kokoro Connect,

Tsuredure Children,

Maid Sama,

Rent-A-Girlfriend (good screwball comedy and sweet in its own way).

And the list grows everyday. I wish more of these series were extended. They deserve to be.
