Silly Lily 80 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 1) if you were your child-like self right now, would you like or watch MLP? in other words, if you were your 5 year old self right now and were growing up a kid today, would you... 2) back when you were a child, if somehow 'everything' about the MLP FIM situation was the same except your current age, would you like or watch MLP? in other words, if MLP FIM was around when you were 5 and you somehow knew it and were able to watch it, would you... 3 Fresh Princesses of Bel-Mare: Now this is the story all about how... Nickli 3 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 I wouldn't, my family is pretty much build up by conservatism so that should covers the reason why i wouldn't.
Tom 891 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 I'm not sure, I probably wouldn't know anything about it. I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar. Known as "Princess Mi Amore Cadenza", "Trixie the Great", "Tom" and "Tomzoid the EggDroid".
Shadow Chaser 633 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 I like to think I would. MLP ranks very highly among the caliber of show I watched as a kid. And having poor self-esteem back then I could've used a show like this. Though that same low self-esteem would've kept me from admitting I was a brony. (Until about high school. That's when I stopped caring what people thought.) "The dead don't talk. I don't know why." - Odd Thomas "You want to take the easy way out because if you try and fail there's only you to blame. Scarfy HOOVES 310 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 honestly i dont think i would. i wasn't yet comfortable with my feminine side to enjoy it. (not saying its girly) meaning i would have assumed it was for girls and wouldn't have been mature enough to give it a fair chance. also alot of the things i enjoy about the show i wouldn't have gotten. Simply meaning sometimes i swear this show is written by 4chan(am i allowed to say that...not sure still very new). but to simply answer your question. no. no i would not. Colon Leftbracket 971 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 Well if I were five it would be impossible for me to watch the show. Five year-olds and internet browsing don't mix well. [New siggy in progress!]

Titan Rising 2,156 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 Well seeing as how it's a show designed with specifically adults in mind with messages only an adult could grasp.... Nope. I would probably hate it.
Skye Starlight 223 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 Well Duh! When I was 5 I watch MLP G3! What makes you think I wouldn't like this? Actually, the reason I didn't watch MLP:FIM for a few months was because I hated what they did to Rarity. She was my favorite childhood pony. I've got a fashion pony of her around here somewhere (Oh the irony, I hated girly girls and fashion) that needs some love, and I even played the video-game, since I had recently gotten into gaming then and played a few GBA games... Interesting facts about me over... Maybe... Well, I didn't like Rarity, but now, I think she's pretty cool, even if she's a fashionista... TL:DR version Yeah of course I would! I was into G3 and I'm into G4! I am prone to leaving both short and long posts as well as with my profile feed... I made this I am so proud of myself! Abaddon 95 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 As a kid I wish we had shows like MLP. I would have loved to watch this. But, I doubt I would have been as big of a fan, this show would have become more of a distant memory of my childhood, instead of an amazing obsession. WildCard 1,037 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 (edited) I personally think that the target audience is over 5 year olds. Overall the show reminds me more of cartoons like "Kim Possible" or the "Powerpuff Girls" and I think thats also what the writers had in mind Just because something is rated E doesn't mean it is for childs Edited June 13, 2012 by Wildcard OC was made by Princess Ariona. Neikos 968 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 Probably, I never was really deterred from Girl Centered shows, only girly shows. I love you! <
Tix 29 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 I probably wouldn't have because I was never aloud to watch TV or be on the computer for more than like 15 to 30 minutes.

It's no surprise considering Faust also worked on Powerpuff Girls. Edited June 13, 2012 by Tom I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar. Twilight Yagami 16 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 I probably would have, this isn't the first girl centered show I have watched (Power Puff Girls, Kim Possible, etc.) I'll take a cupcake...AND EAT IT!
WildCard 1,037 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 You don't say? It's no surprise considering Faust also made Powerpuff Girls. What I meant was more related to the humor, plot, usw. I think Lauren intended to create a show for young teens to have more creative freedom. OC was made by Princess Ariona. Fizz. 1,078 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 I was a Nick kid, and probably wouldn't have even heard of it. If I had, no, just the name would be too "girly". http://alt="img-3411728-1-kQpW0ME.png">
Tupin86 195 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 You don't say? It's no surprise considering Faust also made Powerpuff Girls. I know it's similar to the Powerpuff Girls in terms of pacing and humor, but McCracken created Powerpuff Girls, not Faust... So yeah, I probably would have enjoyed it. Abstract 832 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 I don't know, I didn't watch a whole lot of TV when I was that age. So most likely, no I would not have seen it. However, if I had had the chance to see it, would I have been interested? That's a different matter altogether. "Let the steel of my resolve be not bested by the sum of my fears."
