A debate about Starlight Glimmer

Hello this is just a friendly debate on if Starlight Glimmer should be friends with the mane six (or just with Twilight idk if she is friends with the others) in my opinion I would say no and here is why 

 

She took the mane six and innocent ponies cutie marks and made them live in her village (we don't know how long she been doing that for it could be a month 6 months or a year) she also time traveled to stop Rainbow from doing the sonic rainboom making it so the mane six wouldn't get their cutie marks connection just because she couldn't move on when he childhood friend got his cutie mark and she didn't she was being selfish and she was forgiven in the same episode!!

 

If Starlight was a guy (stallion) she wouldn't be in the same position she is right now

From what I was able to gather is that she is at least a more friendly acquaintance with the main five and is friends with Twilight and Trixie. I can see your point due to how she doesn't really have any big interactions with the other main five except for when she was causing those issues and that one episode where she needs to take friendship lessons with them and then she uses a shortcut with her magic to cause more harm. I do like how she is finally on the good side now.

I wouldn't say she is a friendly acquaintance to the others since she lives with them and have a mirror with pictures of her with each mane six member 

 

and I would like to add there is a title that says she befriended the mane six

I don't think she should've been friends with them so quickly. I think she should've done more to earn their trust and forgiveness, and plenty of community service for the damage she caused.

Yes thank you I agree!! I hate how easily they forgave her I guarantee if Starlight was a stallion they wouldn't of forgiven her or made her their friend so fast look how they treat Spike you think they respect males in My Little Pony

I don't know to what extent their friendship extends to one another since I didn't see anything beyond halfway through season and could use some refreshers, but she is known to carry her guilt considerably, and particularly with Trixie, has put up with more than she should, out of fear that she'll overstep and lose what little she's gained.

Well Twilight did make her a counselor in her school

 

True she is known to carry guilt I mean she was scared to make friends because her childhood friend left her when he got his cutie mark but still she shouldn't be friends with Twilight or the others she should be a acquaintance
