food When are your meal times?

Dreambiscuit

Recommended Posts

What times of the day to you enjoy your meals? Do you eat early or late? Are your mealtimes influenced by other activities?

As an example, I’m a night owl, so for me, my first meal of the day is around 8pm, with my ‘lunch’ around 2am, and then I snack the rest of the time, usually around 6 or 7am when I’m sitting down to watch a movie before bed. On work days I have to flip everything around; breakfast at 7am, lunch at 1pm and dinner at 8pm. What does your dining schedule look like?

My times for breakfast, lunch or tea (dinner) can vary as I usually have lunch at 12:00PM and tea (dinner) at 4:00PM and these times can change for any reason, Dreamy. :D

I'm a typical mediterranean guy.

Breakfast at 7-8am

Elevenses at 11am

Lunch at 1-2pm

Tea time at 5-6pm

Supper at 8-10pm (If I go to party or doing something until sunrise, supper starts at 10-11pm)

Probably we are related to the Hobbits.

Breakfast: 8-9am

Lunch: 12-1pm

Dinner: 5-6pm

On weekends, I'll usually just skip breakfast and eat lunch at early. Around 11am or so.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I have 2 types of a day.

Fisrt:
Breakfast: 7-8 AM
2nd breakfest: 10-11 AM
Lunch: 1-3 PM
Dinner: 6-8 PM

But there are days when I wake up at 5 AM, eat my breakfest shorly after and then I eat when I am hungry or when I have enough time.

@Bad Dream Straight up nocturnal you are mate! :party-pone:

Work days, something light just after 8:00AM, lunch squeeze something inbetween 12-2:00PM if you can, a bite here and there and dinner most likely not until after 9:00PM, often later.

Days off, sleeping in or having a chiropractic appointment, so breakfast won't be till about 11:00AM, light lunch at 3-4:00PM, and dinner probably around 8:00PM.

¡Yep!

This is the secret of how Spanish People can party until Sunrise (that kind of party/disco night normally starts at 12-1am).

Between Lunch and Tea time just take a Healthy Nap. And I mean a healthy nap. Just half an hour, or an hour. (Sit on a confortable chair with some keys in one of your hands. Take a Nap and when you wake up by the sound of the keys on the floor, that's a Healthy Nap).

Eat something in Tea Time, then supper Minimum at 10pm but I think 11pm is best.

Now you can party, dance all you want until sunrise.

I wish you all that you can come here one day so we can party until sunrise... :(

But that's the reason of 5 meals a day. Party all night long :jazz-hooves-please:

¡Bueno! :eager:

Oh! I remeber the times when I lived in a student house on the same floor with people from Spain and Turkey.

Every weekend, when I was coming back at 10-11 PM, the Spanish used to drag all the tables and chairs from their rooms to make a big table in the center of the corridor next to the elevators to have a big supper together. Every time when I was leaving the elevators, I was greeted and asked to join them. I remember how they used to prepare the big feast in the only kitchen we had on that floor. No one could even enter the kitchen then because it was too crowded and the amount of smoke used to activate the fire alarm so eventually it was swiched off so the fire fighters wouldn't have to pay us a visit every weekend. I miss those old times :mlp_icwudt:

This really got interesting! I wasn’t expecting cool stuff like elevenses, second breakfasts, tea time and all night parties! What have I been missing?

@Arrlong28 The keys are such a good idea to avoid oversleeping!

Yeah! That's the best way to nap and avoid oversleeping. I think it was a way to nap popularized by one famous spanish writer. (It's called "Key's nap").

But there's a big culture arround naps here, there's like a ton of ways to nap.

The meals sometimes are difficult to translate to english. But yeah "elevenses" and "tea time" are the closest I found.

But you know, the way cultures eat are adapted to their ways of living.

This topic is very fun!
