Hello, my little ponies! Happy 1st of the month. But not just ANY month! 

It's 

December!!! 
So, one of the beautiful experiences I've had on the forums is getting to know people from all over the world! Which also means we get to learn new phrases that I've never heard of before!

Atticus used to banter with me like "A pinch and a punch for the first of the month!" What is this phrase? I've never heard of it before.

Apparently it's from Australia. Aaaand he got me the last time so I will not tolerate this!

So! Every 1st of the month, I shall post here any thoughts, plans, random ideas, etc. And you are free to join me!
Each post is a "pinch and a punch for the first of the month." And totally not my revenge   just my way of returning the loving favour. 

I had questioned myself on making this thread because we are actually a supportive community and "pinch and a punch" sounds mean... but it's more of a Rainbow Dash kind of banter. You don't actually physically touch anyone.

What I have planned for the month:

It's going to be a very active month for me! So a lot of my activity will be based on trying to grow in my career but also continuing the principles of learning and growing in general, so I will be focusing on advancing my studies. 

Forum-wise:

-I plan to post more blogs to contemplate some things and keep more posted on my thoughts/where I've been, etc. 
- @Sparklefan1234 had a clever idea for an Advent calendar for the year! That I'd like @Dynamo Pad to look into!
- Not sure if I'll be around to manage Making Christmas Merrier but we shall see! 
- New improvements and updates overall.

What's on my mind: Being happy that i have a PS5 again! been playing some good games, i look forward to christmas dinner with the family and then the year 2025 itself. 2024 didn't go as hoped but that's okay, i managed. i have high hopes that 2025 will be an improvement. i hope 2025 will be good to you too.

As for my plans:

- buy christmas gifts for @Ice Princess Silky <3 and family :3 

- christmas preperation - I need to decorate the apartment D: 

- more physical activity, which is one aspect of life that's really lacking on my end

And then there's forums... I need to start posting more and become more active. Life for me is bumpy and some things are very time demanding (looking at you, my lovely job ), but I think december will clear some things out for me <3 I miss everyone here so much

I think I'm going to edit it to "A cinch and free lunch" I feel so bad doing an inside joke banter in a public space where it might look like we hate Aticus or something when it's actually the opposite. Rules still apply, banter is still the same... but shall change the title <3 Even though those in Australia will get the phrase. :3

For me December is the month to finish stuff.

- I would like to finish one of my current projects to improve lifestyle and free some time for new deeds in the upcoming year.

- Christmas and New Year holidays preparation. I'm planning to organise party, decor our cave, finish preparing gifts for close ones ^•^

- I want to start reading paper books again! Oh my Goodness how I missed the magic of paper books ^e^ I ordered some already.

A pinch and a punch for the first of the month! 

The last few weeks have been a bit sad for me, for personal reasons. So I plan to try to change my behavior a bit, to get out of the depressive mood.

I think I'm going to put up a Christmas tree, I haven't celebrated Christmas in years... so that might be nice.

I want to keep practicing my drawings and when I have the courage, open an "artist shop". I've always loved drawing, and I would be happy if my drawings brought joy to others.

PS. I also intend to finish making my cutie mark, with Silky's help. ^^

That is SO cool that you know about this! Aticus tends to counter with "a hit for being so quick!" Or something like that. Right now, he is in opposite land... so he's probably asleep while this thread immortalises the moment he decided to mess with us >:3

Anyways, *pinch and punch* @Aticus the Adequate. We'll have to let these slowpokes on the other side of the world catch up to us.

This December is already looking to be busy. I'm getting the keys to my new apartment either later today or tomorrow. Going to be sleeping there on Wednesday and moving the furniture on Thursday and then I'll finally be done with the hassle of moving. Right now, I am sitting at my PC at my desk with a legion of boxes behind me.

Anyways, hoping the end of the year treats everyone nicely!

For myself, the only really big thing happening is my holiday to Japan which I'm really saving up for. That's another thing. Saving money. Hard thing to do but I've got a cool financial plan for next year

This Christmas is going to be spent with my family and friends, both in person and on here! Then I've got two weeks off from work and a few ideas of what I wanna do then! Summer's here for us in Australia now, so beach days are a-comin'! Looking forward to seeing all the good news from all of you guys!
