Here's the various remixes I've done and released of other pony works (just because I felt like doing them).

Seriously, the combination of your instrumentals and remixing skill is jaw dropping. I loved all of your other songs, but for me instrumentals in general are too simple. I don't know why, but I like lyrical songs because they tend to be complicated. Combining the lyrics and your already exceptional instrumentals makes SpinScissor one of my all time favorites. I hope you're OK with this, but I converted the YouTube video to an mp3 so that I can listen to it in my music player. If I could figure out how, I would've set this as my ringtone on my phone :PIPPIPHURRAY:

Joking aside, thank you so much! I'm quite proud of how it turned out, especially the bass. Big and a bit crunchy, fits it well!

Fun fact: this remix is what indirectly almost destroyed my eardrums a while back. Reminder to double check your volume levels and maybe not get distracted by memes. :sealed:

I technically have another remix of one of his other songs, Every Year, but I realized it sounded too similar to another song I like (which is also about 20 years old now) so I stopped working on it after I roughly arranged it and went to listen to it while driving.

I'll just share an mp3 of it, why not?

This remix already destroyed my eardrums

I uhhh.....I put the volume on my headphones at 100% a few hours ago. My ears were ringing for 30 minutes after I finished listening to the song :3

Also yes I love the bass in SpinScissor

Honestly, I feel like you should finish it. It really has potential and I really liked what you made so far.

Please make a FLAC, I want loseless. And I generally don't recommend Google Drive file sharing since your email is written in plain text for everyone to see. You could try uploading it to bandcamp or just make a YouTube video (so that we can use ytmp3), or maybe upload it here (idk if this website has .flac or .wav embeds)

Most custom ringtones were downloaded through iTunes on Mac and ported to iTunes on iPhone. However........iTunes on Mac was discontinued lol. So now all the articles online are outdated and I have no clue how to set a custom ringtone.

macOS doesn't record audio in screen recordings so I can't break your eardrums but trust me when I say this. It. Is. LOUD. REALLY REALLY REALLY LOUD.

It was so loud that a friend who was working next to me felt like he was listening to the song was playing in his headphones at 30% volume. The music traveled outside of my earcups and into his.

@tomatopotato Oh yeah, careful! The ringing isn't good. Hmm, I'm gonna have to lower the volume and make some EQ adjustments.

My excuse is it was a different mixing and mastering attempt to match modern DnB but I've since changed it to a different method that's more reasonable. I think even for the video I lowered it by like 5 dB or so.

In fact, just did a quick adjustment. Since I listen and make music at 60% system volume, I know how loud I want my material to be now.

It's not reaching the usual target I go for now after adjustments (other than better matching my reference track), but this sounds way better than the original mix already.

Lowered it by about 6 dB and some EQ'ing, that's all.

I might take a crack at it some other time from a different perspective. While I'm heavily inspired by Calibre, I don't want to rip his work off.

Huh, I checked on my phone and my PC, it shows a download link if you click on the 3 buttons. Not sure what's going on there. Is that a thing Mac does? I'm not familiar with Mac so...

Will do! I just want it to be included with more material before I do that.

Per the Google Drive thing, honestly I was spitballing and that's the first thing that came to my head. Though, tbh the email I use idc if people see it since it's not my personal one (the one with my irl name on it).

Oh lol I remember that site from a long time ago. But I recommend cobalt tools over that ytmp3 site since it's waaaaay more versatile. Check the settings on there, trust me. :)
