What’s your favorite movie from the year you were born? For me, it’s a tie between The Tigger Movie (2000) and Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (2000)

  • The title was changed to Favorite Movie from the Year you were born

1993 for me, I'm realizing I haven't seen a ton of 1993 movies, or at least as much as I remember, some I should get around to watching at some point like Schindler's List, Nightmare Before Christmas and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

2 movies I do remember loving a lot though were Sandlot and Hocus Pocus, so for now those two are my picks

They're not my favorite (since I don't have favorite things), but the My Little Pony movie and the Puss in Boots movie. (2011) I can't name any off of the top of my head, so I will reply again with more movies, most likely.

I went from not knowing a single movie to being surprised how many came out that year and how many I thought were good. :jazz-hooves-please:

The Iron Giant is a classic, The Green Mile is a phenomenal movie but it’s far too sad to be a favorite, Star Wars The Fantom Menace, Toy Story 2.. all in all I’m going to have to say The Matrix. Which I had for the longest time thought came out a little later in the early 2000’s not 1999.

Definitely Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995) for me, the only other one that really stood a chance was the original Toy Story

Oh you mean from 1994? One of Hollywood's most successful years ever? *cracks knuckles*.

The Lion King

Forrest Gump

The Mask

There's more but those are actual faves of mine :proud: . I do like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective but it's a relatively new one I've seen and not quite in my top favorites.

Proud 94 guy...

The Matrix for sure. I didn’t watch it until much after 1999 of course, which probably did lessen the impact it had on me. Still, such an iconic movie. There’s a reason people still reference and talk about it all the time.
