Bright side, I would rank my 2025 on MLP Forums infinity/10 because I was able to reconnect with my Best Friends, @ExplosionMare and @Lucky Bolt.

This year has had its ups and downs for me, I’ll give it a 7.5/10.

Well, it isn't over yet. But I'd say 7-8/10. Nothing overtly bad happened, same as last year. Had some decent moments but nothing that really sticks out. Music releases this year weren't too crazy, or at least nothing's released that's blown my mind like last year. Game releases this year have been great though, good year for games. And sports... well, playoffs early in the year for the NFL were terrible but the Lions are having a good season now. I think 7/10 seems fair.

I'd give it an 9/10 because it's been an amazing year for my personal growth and family/friend bonds. The reason I didn't give it a full 10 is because of all the crazy and sad things that have happened in society that make me really sad for those less fortunate.

Most of the year was pretty mundane to be honest; wake up, work, play, sleep, repeat. There was one great moment back in May, when a relative of mine got out from under some really bad problems. The summer was average and I worked on some art. The last two months were pretty horrendous, with some bad health issues, two surgeries, multiple trips to the ER and one of them in an ambulance. So overall, with the year still having the most important months left (Christmas and all that), was less than glorious, but I’m hoping it’ll finish off on a happy note.

I feel that a lot of things happened. Rejoined and reconnected with friends including the one who’s very special to me. Shared my dream with them, and got a chance to convince my mother to come with me during my Navy enlistment. That’s a huge accomplishment for me. A huge step up between a mother and a son, I feel like I have finally got the kind of support I needed from her.. since as a child, it was neglected. So I think that really made my soul feel satisfied and finally at ease. Lots of reflection and growth that I didn’t think I needed. The moment to step back and take care of myself first. Feel quite liberating. Do little things that make me happy. I feel fate has been kind to me during my darkest moments. Giving me small signs.. redirecting me that I’m not alone. Got a chance to visits Vietnam, witnessed my very first military parade… and finally feel that I do belong, even it’s just for the momentary.

Ooooh this is a good one. It's not over yet! So far, 8.5/10.  ★★★★☆

Around this time last year, a best friend and I decided to claim 2025 as our own. Like a rebirth. Individually and on separate paths. The plan started to take off. Friend is soaring high with flying colors and me? Something a bit similar until around... Summer, I believe?

Things were super great until I started noticing some things holding me back or making me plummet. It made me start thinking a lot about my past, loved ones who passed away, etc and it was really putting me in a negative headspace while everyone or anyone who messaged me with some dark or negative problems was stunting my ability to progress in a positive headspace. I think I had also become more impatient, snarkier and angry or something since with so many people running to me for it, it felt like it was nonstop. :v

The solution? Get rid of them. Especially anyone who is only your friend when you are agreeable to what they want but once you say no or set boundaries-- they get angry/controlling, etc. 

After that -- I decided to retreat, take some crazy adventures in traveling, going to an orchestra, spend quality time with friends and loved ones and realised that the quality people will always just be there, patiently waiting or hoping for the best for everyone with no strings attached and no hidden motives. Ever since then things have just been wonderful and only getting better. Two months left to 2025! I have already learned a lot and wish to not ever go astray from my own standards or principles again. 

I am thankful to my friends and family for sticking through thick and thin.  And of course the forum friends -- both active here and hidden -- but still offering kindness and support.

I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Even though I'm no longer with her, it was destiny.

 

This year, I joined MLP FORUMS—that was the biggest thing for me. In the first half of the year, I traveled with friends. In July, my friend’s mom passed away, and My sorrow goes up to the ceilin'.

Rest in peace.

Nearing the end of this year it's definitely improved vs the start. Cut some toxic people out of my life and no regrets there. I'm making progress on the health stuff and picked up reading again. That's really all I could ask for. So 7/10

Pretty bad, tbh. Nothing bad happened to me personally like losing my job or house, but I had A lot of passings in the family this year, among other struggles

I have a lot to be grateful for, but also very worried about the world, it's in a pretty sorry state.

There are plenty of great people doing great things, but the opposite is no less true.

I've had some hard knocks.

Mix, even I stop searching for work for abit, thought we be going on hoilday but my mom won'y want us to go to any holiday. She been house bound since two years ago. Been watching four comic book movie specialy Superman, along watching non comic book movies, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Tron Ares and Predator Badlands in the Cinema. along with some moments with Genshin Impact when playing games.

An 8.5, but could round up to a 9 if the next month goes well. Last year was fairly uneventful, but this year was quite the opposite in the sense that a lot has happened and most of it was actually quite good.

I put mine around a 6.5 because of all the downs and ups that have occurred and are about to occur.
