Aliza Kielden is sixteen years old.
For her whole life she's lived with her druggie alcoholic mother. Her mother's boyfriends have sexually, mentally, and physically abused her, leaving her drained and emotionally cut off.
She's been cutting for over four years now, and no one knows it.
She has no friends, since she hates to get close to anyone. Her dad left before she was even born, and she has horrible trust issues and shy's away from most men.

Aliza held onto her brother, keeping him under the bed with her. He was crying, snot running down onto her hands, which were held over his mouth.

She whispered in his ear and also kept an ear open for any footsteps.

"Shh, Kaiden, shh.. It's okay, it's alright.. Sissy's here."

She smiled at him.

"It's okay. We're just playing a game.."

Kaiden smiled back. She let her hands fall to the floor quietly and held him close.
