Derpy drawing attempt

I took some advice to practice a bit on my drawing, and I tried it out, I did do a little tracing, but this came out pretty good, and it is, by far, my best drawing yet.

 

 

Thoughts? Advice?

I think you did a pretty great job actually. The only thing I would say is to try to make the top feather of the wing a little bigger. Like so:

But I do see where you got your idea from, if you would have kept everything else and just changed the wing it would be near perfect. Still great job though.

Nice colouring on the eyes, maybe add some yoellow outlines to mane and tail. Also wingtip behind the ear.

Tracing different ponies is good for improving one's colouring, but to improve you're actual drawing, I'd suggest trying out some drawing guides (google's your friend here).
