Haha, well I haven't seen FMA Brotherhood yet, I hear it's pretty good, but you just can't beat the first FMA :3

 

Most people like the second one better. However, I think the first one is more plot focused, but Brotherhood there's more action, and it's different though, there both really likeable.

I really, really love this song. After watching the opening, I've always loved Gustav Klimt and his artwork.... X3

 

FMA - Ready, Steady, Go!

This has actually the same story as the D.Grey-man song. I heard this first, and after that, that it was an anime opening.

Paranoia Agent has one of the most surreal and stunning openings I have ever seen in any anime. The man with his arms spread wide while he gleefully laughs with a mushroom cloud behind him still sends a shiver down my spine.

 

This is an ending theme, but it's pretty much my personal favorite. Yes, it was originally produced in English. When Tenchi The Movie: Tenchi Muyo In Love was released in Japanese theaters, this was the theme. The Japanese version was added for the video release. The song is basically about Tenchi's deceased mother, and how her love for him will never die. I still get all misty eyed every time I listen to it.

Yay, I can finally post two more of my favorites! I'm going a bit old school with my two very favorite androids.

 

"New Cutey Honey" (1994) is one of the very first DVDs I ever bought! It replaced my original VHS copies (Yes, I was into anime when it was sold only on...GASP...Video Tape!) My love of this show explains why I have used Cuteycindyhoney exclusively as my screen name for over twelve years now!

Now for another android. Also another series I owned on VHS before the DVD was released.

"All Purpose Cultural Cat-girl Nuku-Nuku" is the story of a nearly indestructible android that looks like a pretty high school girl, who's instincts, self awareness and emotions are supplied by the living cat brain wired into her on-board computer. She's a super strong lovable goof! My favorite episode is when the bad guys fire catnip missiles at her, and she goes full on complete feline!

This is the opening for "Mezzo Forte DSA". Don't confuse it with "Mezzo Forte", the OVA with the same characters. That OVA has two seriously ADULT hentai scenes! Mezzo DSA has none!

While both well known I want to give the nudge to Bleach rather than Evangelion.

 

Mainly because for the most part every opening for bleach is pretty awesome, even if they don't reflect the current season.

 

Evangelion would be the runner up though, that song just gets stuck in your head.

"Madlax" This isn't the opening theme. I like this song better, and this is one of the most epic gun battles in the history of anime!

 

 

"The Dirty Pair" How could I forget my girls Kai and Yuri? I've loved this show since I was kid and swiped my brother's bootleg video tapes! Yes, my BBBFF is also an anime fan! Thankfully they finally released Dirty Pair TV on DVDs in the United States!
