Do rage comics count as "art" or "fan fiction"?

 

Their plots are as loose as a porno's, but they are rarely orig. drawings...

Well how the comic works is that the words are the original part and the faces are used to 'amplify' the effect of the words...

Not really art if you just used a program to assemble a bunch of pictures someone else made...

Besides the point of a comic is just express something and I am expressing about making someone a pony since art is about expression right?
