Blaze went outside, he found a spot where multiple rocks were strewn around because of a landslide or two. Blaze thought that he would use this time for some training. He tried to concentrate on levitating a hoof sized rock, but was met with a tinge of pain in his horn. *ack* Blaze cried out but he continued anyway.

Hypno simply didn't want to answer 'Well, my mind is quite bucked up, so a lot of things are funny' so he answered with "Ah, i get that a lot sometimes." he said to her with a chuckle. He noticed that with Carrick gone, there wasn't much productive things to do.

Snow nodded, "It's fine." Snow sat down again. "...I want to thank you. You've been nice to me while others seemed to be...an asshole. I dunno why either, I'm not a good mare. I've done some bad stuff." Snow said.

Starbolt approached Carrick. "Sorry I couldn't do anything earlier." She said sadly.

Starbolt attempted to levitate the nearby lamp post, nothing happened.

Starbolt sighed. "I'm useless." She mumbled.

Fae attempted teleportation. She appeared behind the house.

"Well, I'm happy that I was able to be such a good host." She joked. She really started feel more comfortable with this pony. She couldn't believe what was doing, but it felt right, "It's Blossom."

"Hey," Carrick placed his right hoof on her cheek, the soft fur felt nice. "There was nothing anypony could do. I couldn't do anything, I was stuck blinded and deaf at the will of that pony. I'm just happy that you're alive and well," Carrick smiled at her.

Starbolt blushed at Carrick's touch.

She put her hoofs around him and hugged him tightly.

"I-if I had my magic I might of be able to of stopped that, and Blaze still might have his magic." She said to Carrick.

The warm presence of her body embracing him made Carrick cheeks go red. He embraced just as tight, he didn't want to see her sad. "The moment you start blaming yourself for ponies lives, there's no coming back. You can't control what happen. Don't blame yourself." Carrick said softly to her.

Hypno chuckled at her joke, then smiled "Is that your real name then, Snow Blossom is it?" He asked, still unsure of what she meant entirely.

She nodded, "It's what my parents last names were. To be honest, I feel it's a bit lame. It's a name of a tree. Well, my name that is." She said as she tried to get comfortable on the ground.

The pain in Blaze's horn increased with each time he tried to use magic. He focused on the pain trying to increase his output of magic energy. The pain started to become searing hot, he screamed out in pain, but did not give up. He kept focusing on the rock as much as possible. A sudden red spark came from his horn. The rock did not move and nothing else happened. But Blaze was ecstatic, the spark from his horn meant there was still an attachment to the rest of his body, he could still use magic to some degree. Blaze decided to take a break and nap under an evergreen tree, as far as he was concerned he was victorious.

"Well, i think it's a lovely name" Hypno said, still keeping his smile. "My real names Stop Watch, Hypno was just a nickname i gave myself after my eyes went like this. And i guess it just stuck on me" He chuckled

"Stop Watch, what a nice name." She said. She started to give a big yawn, huh, I don't feel tired. "Do you have any more apples? I think I'm feeling a bit hungry, Stop Watch." Snow asked, using his real name instead of his nickname.

"Yeah" Hypno said as he waked away, but came back with another basket of apples "Although after a while i came to prefer Hypno." He chuckled as he handed the basket of apples to her.

Starbolt just kept hugging Carrick finding comfort in his embrace.

Fae saw some movement in the forest.

'What was that.' She thought to herself. She moved closer to investigate.

((OOC: I wanted to finish the scene with Carrick and Starbolt, but I'm bloody tired. I'll be back in 4-6 hours. Night everypony.))

 

"Well, it is a cool name, but I think I like your real name better" Snow said as she took a apple and took a bite out of it. "Where do you pick the apples by the way? There always so juicy." Snow took a big bite and sucked the apple piece in her mouth before she swallowed it in her mouth.

"Whatever floats your boat" Hypno chuckled "Carrick and everypony else left them here" Hypno then said. "Although, from what Blaze said, there was some Zapapples around, we could look for them tomorrow if we got nothing to do, stock up on a few other apples if we run out?"

He pulled away from Starbolt, He wanted to see her face, Her face that he has seen many times. He gave a soft smile to her, he'd hope his words had given her comfort. "Do you feel better, Starbolt?" Carrick asked.

"A bit." She replied.

"I wish I could use my magic again, so I can actually be useful instead of a dead weight." She replied to Carrick.

"Starbolt, you don't get it?" Carrick chuckled, "No pony is dead weight. Every pony can contribute even without powers. Look at me. Though I do have powerful strength of an earth pony. I've never use it." Carrick pokes his own head, "Asking questions. Thinking logical. Trying to see path of fallacy. All you need to do is think outside the box." Carrick said., "You'll have your powers in no time, but remember you can use that head of yours. You're a pretty smart pony, Starbolt."

In the cruel cold of the forest, lies a pony. He laid on the tree as he plucked the strings of his guitar. The soothing tune of his arrangement. Next to his body lied a hood. The hood that read "I begin where all things end." on the back of it. His wings were hurt, he was unable to fly out of the forest. He was just stuck, waiting for somepony to help him...

Fae approached the hooded pony hiding in the leaves of a nearby tree.

'Starbolt there's a pony here. Looks injured, will continue to observe.' Fae messaged Starbolt.

Starbolt looked confused.

"Carrick. Fae found a pony in the forest, probably injured." She told him.

"Hmm, looks like there is something afoot. This could be intriguing" Carrick placed his fedora on her head as he got out of the bed. His cheeks still have that red on him, he poke his own cheeks. Huh... Carrick shook his head, as he turned to Starbolt, "You coming?"

He start whistling, a loud growl came from him. I'lll need to eat soon, damn it. That crazy son of a bitch... He continues to play the guitar. To distract himself from his predicament.

"Sure." Starbolt replied to Carrick as she followed him out.

 

Fae poked closer she saw the hood.

She saw the hood. 'Starbolt look at this.' She said as she projected the mental image of the hood to Starbolt.

Starbolt saw the hood and what was written on it.

"Carrick does the phrase. 'I begin where all things end.' mean anything to you? The pony Fae found has a hood with that written on it." She replied.

Fae startled by the growl retreated back into the shrubbery.

Carrick gave a big 'heh', "I guess fate is shining down on me today. It looks like we found a Ice Star goon." Carrick started to head out of the cabin. He exclaim to the others that were in the cabin "We've found something, we'll be heading out of the forest and searching a certain pony." Carrick and Starbolt got out of the door.

Fae heard him looking around. She used an invisibility spell and vanished.

'I'm quite sure he heard me.' She told Starbolt.

"Carrick he heard Fae I think." She told him.
