"Sakura? Renamon? Everybody?" Coral called out behind and followed after them into the restaurant, sitting down in the chair the waiters Digimons brought over. The sight of her friends ordering and eating looked like the picture of a school of fishes darting after bread crumbs. Finally, she couldn't stand just watching. One of us must have money with them, or they wouldn't be ordering. I promise I will pay back! "Pancakes, please! With cream on top of it!" A delighted squeal escaped her as a plate of pancakes tower was brought over and set down in front of her. It sparkled apetizingly in her eyes before she tilt her fork and started to eat. "Can I have a burrito, too, Jayten? "

"Sure theres a whole plate of the..." Jayten said

"NO! THEY ARE ALL MINE" Shojomon protested

"Oh come on shojo, share, there is plenty" Jayten said

"Aw, fine" Shojomon said shoving the plate in Coral's direction

"Thank you, Shojomon. I am starving! " Coral smiled and stuck her tongue out mischeviously, taking a burrito. She is probably hungry from losing the fight. She topped the burritos with a cherry before pushing the plate back. "Hey, anybody wants pancakes? " "I can eat them all, but they are really good. " The waiters appeared next to their table with drinks. Did somebody order the drinks? Thirsty, Coral said thank you to the waiter and took a glass of mango smooothies.

Finished eating Jayten began to fiddle around with his digivice. He pushed some buttons and a hologram compass popped out pointing north just like the earths compass. "Wow, a compass, if it is pointing north, that must mean this places gravitational field is similar to ear..." Stopping himself Jayten grabbed his head "Ack!" How did I know about the earths gravitational pull? Why does my head hurt every time I asks myself these questions? Jayten thought.

"Jayten?" Coral noticed Jayten's act and almost knocked over her mango smoothe, grabbing a glass of water and handing it over to him. It can be dehydration. "Here, drink some water. Are you okay?" She was more concerned with the cause of his headaches than what he just said.

Jayten downed the glass of water. "Thanks Coral. Yeah I am fine, its like I know things lots of things, but I can't remember where I learned them from. I have no memories whatsoever. And anytime I question my brain on why I know certain things, I receive an intense pain in my head" Jayten said.

Hearing Jayten's reply in feeling better, Coral sat back in relief and drank the rest of the smoothie. "It's like... your brain doesn't want you to think. Or to remember." She learned some basic health from attending lifeguard lectures, but what Jayten described didn't match anything she knew. Her mind was thinking more clearly after the meal. Folding her arms on the table, Coral leaned in and placed her chin on the top. "My teacher will know what's causing yoru headache, but she's probably worriedly looking for me now." Sorrowfully she murmured. This place made her felt homesick. "We should try getting back to the real world. Maybe you will remember your past over there." But how?

"Thanks, for being worried" Jayten said sincerely "I think you are right, if we can get back to the real world, even if I don't remember anything, someone has to be out there looking for me right?" Jayten asked but was not expecting an answer because it was more of a rhetorical question.

Coral smiled and straighten up, suddenly feeling shy for Jayten's sincere words. "Somebody will, Jayten. You are such a nice peson." She assured with a wink, finishing the last pancake and the remains of salad. "And even they don't, I can help you find them. I am pretty free, since it's summer. "

 

The waiter, seeing that the custromers were preparing to leave, bounced over. "Here's your bill. We only take cash. No bargain."

 

"Ok." Coral reached for her pocket, but then realized she didn't have any money with her. Embarrasedly she looked toward the others. "Jayten, do you have your wallet with you? I promise I will pay you back once we get back."

"No, I don't have a wallet, the only thing I had on me when I woke were my cards and my digivice. It would be more easy if I did have a wallet and ID on me. As of right now I don't even know my last name." Jayten said apologetically

"Hehe, I think I lost mine when I dived into the water." Coral shrugged to show that it was okay, then what he brought up interested her. "Cards? Wh-"

 

What she said later was cut off by a yell. The smile on the waiter's face was peeled off and replaced with a toothy frown. "So are you saying that you want to eat this meal for FREE?"

 

"I-I am sorry. We were starving and we didn't know that we don't have money on us." Coral explained and cringed, trying not to panick under the waiter's yell. Now she regretted eating all the food. "I will pay you back. Somehow." She promised.

 

The waiter growled in disgust then pointed to the door leading to the kitchen. "If you want to pay back, work."

BlackWeregarurumon walked up to the waiter and grabbed him by the scruff. "Have you forgotten what the last humans who came here did," he snarled. "I'm so sorry about that, some people here don't agree with my management but if you need any help I'm always here," he said with a smile.

 

Some of the workers looked at him with disapproval.

Instead of apologizing for what happened, now Coral was actually half-confused and half-grateful of the black werewolf-like Digimon. "Eh... I am willing to work to pay for the meal. " She promised in a calmer voice this time, wondering if the waiter was okay after being grabbed around the neck. Is he the manager of this restaurant? Then he must be BlackWeregarurumon. Suddenly she realized what he just said and stood up so fast the other waiters thought she was going to fight her way out. "Last humans?" Coral gasped, lookig at the others to see if they heard it, too. "You mean there were others before us? "

Sakura laughed weekly, "You know i didn't eat... so... I'm ok you know" she laughed awkwardy.

 

Renamon looked at Blackweregargurumon "I wouldn't trust him more then i could throw him" she said bluntly. She wasn't looking for a fight she was just telling the truth.

"Why did you lie and leave them, Alice? Aren't they your friends?" Candlemon asked while jumping after Alice.

"I didn't necessarily lie, I noticed that a piece of my necklace had fallen of and I guessed it was from the fall here."

"I'm relived, you don't seem like the person who would lie to others, sorry for suspecting you, you've just been acting so weird."

"It's okay, and I guess this all end-up-in-a-new-world is getting to me, that's all."

"If you say so..."

 

Alice and Candlemon continued walking to the area Alice had landed, she remembered some weird looking flowers so she was pretty much looking after those. After a while, they managed to find the place and Alice scanned the ground, finding the part of the necklace.

 

"Got it!"

"Great!" Candlemon said, studying the part his partner had picked up. It was a golden oval shaped pearl.

"It is really nice."

"Thank you, I got it from one of my friends when I was younger." after Alice said that, her face took a sadder expression and Candlemon felt that it wasn't a good time to ask more about the friend.

"Time to head back to the others then?"

"Yeah..."

"Yes there were humans here before you, Many years ago, they came with the powers to make digimon digivolve. Now there's a shrine made on the mountain where they left for their world," BlackGarurumon told Coral.

This piqued Jayten's interest. "Did they tell you how they were going to get back to their world?

Coral was surprised by Renamon's sudden hostility toward Blackgarurumon. "But we just met. And he looks like a nice digimon." Uncertainly she added. Since she didn't know much about digimons whom she was limited assocated with, Blackgarurumon acted more reasonable than other ones. "Where they left for their world... You mean that's the place they could go to leave this world?" We found a way to go home!

Renamon looked at Coral, "He's called Black Garurmon for a reason" she pointed out.

"Oh look at that, more discrimination against black digimon," BlackWeregarurumon muttered before turning to Jayten. "They did not, but you wouldn't want to go to Infinity mountain, LadyDevimon controls it and her X-antibody digimon will flatten you," he said.

Renamon looked at him, and sighed. "sorry, just bad run ins with digimon of your kind" she told him. She looked at BlackWeregaurumon, "So... LadyDevimon is back... the lady of nightmeres her self"

"Hmm do you think so?" Terriermon askes. "It could just be another Ladydevimon."

"Well, there aren't that many ladydevimon as she is an ultimate level digimon and-" Jayten stopped himself and covered his mouth with his hand how did I know that just now? Jayten thought as he received another jolt of pain to his cranium "Ack" Jayten let out a yelp.

"What's wrong Jayten?" Leon askes. "Wish I had brought some Advil or something..."

 

"Some what?" Terriermon askes. "Oh it's hmm...Human medicine that help with headaches." Leon explains.

Renamon looked at Jayten with smile. "yes, he's right shes a higher form then any of us can get to" she said. Her ears picked up, she ran to out side and looked to the sky. "Hmm... I hear a digimon..." she mumbled.

 

Sakura followed Renamon, She looked to the sky as well.
