Starbolt heard Scout. She turned realizing that the pegasus from earlier was actually Scout. She panicked and thought of something. She put a barrier around Scout and fired another projectile. The first bolt hit the barrier and bounced back ready to turn and hit the weakened barrier, but the second bolt Starbolt fired hit it and the two magical bolts obliterated each other. She ran next to Scout as he landed. "I'm so sorry!" She said hoping Scout would forgive her.

"This armor, it's white and yellow! NOT BLACK AND BLUE!" he says, landing heavily, and breathing hard. He takes a minute to regain control of himself. "I swear, you need to aim less well. Good to see you. You the Unicorn I'm supposed to help?" he asks, blushing slightly, "And, no hard feelings."

"how many pony are these rebels throwing at us" Swift said as he used his shards to take down the griffons flying above "back in formation shields up!" he yelled as as his unit now short in numbers moved closer to each other to defend as Swift layed down a barrage of shrapnel 'our numbers are dwindling we need re-enforcement'

"I think I am. So they sent you to help me." She said smiling.

"I haven't introduced you to Fae yet have I?" She asked Scout as she fired another barrage of spells at the Lunarians. She saw Swift in the front lines recognizing his familiar armor and weapon, she saw another rain of arrows coming down at them. She concentrated hard and every single arrow stopped in mid flight.

 

Meanwhile Fae was searching for the enemy commander. She saw her outpost and began to move closer still invisible.

Of course Applejack wouldn't recklessly let her soldiers die without any support, "All air units, proceed to bombing run." Applejack commanded as she looked around the battlefield watching soldiers die in numbers.

"Umm, okay. Well, let me report to Pinkie Pie first, see if I'm actually needed, and then we'll see if a pegasi can help one of the best mages in the military," he says, thinking, Man, I know I wanted this, but this is actually, probably going to be boring. I mean, what can I actually help Starbolt with? He sighs, walking up to Pinkie Pie. "Scout reporting for duty, as ordered," he says, saluting.

Pinkie spotted a few pegasi flying toward them. They were holding something, they looked like...bombs. "Everypony go to cover!" But it was too late. They dropped, and around half of the remaining troops that Pinkie had brought had died. But reinforcements were streaming in from Canterlot Castle, and most of the archers had not been discovered yet, so they still had a chance. Pinkie then heard a voice to her right. She glanced in the direction and saw a pony, supposedly the one due to help Starbolt. "Ah, yes, good you have arrived, we need as many ponies as possible in this war effort. Return to Starbolt for instructions from her."

[The Razor Wing 879]

Coming out of a tunnel that put Razor and Surge right in the middle of the battle they see a pony get struck in the head. Oh buck, that look like it hurt. Do you think shes dead? Pulling the body to safety and undercover. Shes still breathing, but barely. Ill take her underground and see what we can do. Ok you do that. I have a Princess to talk to. Flies off to Canterlot. With Ponyvill under attack security at the palace will be low. But they will most likely have their best guards on duty. Ill have to make this quick.

Fae snuck closer to hear the words bombing run. 'Starbolt I think you've got an incoming Lunarian bombing run.' She told her. She saw Applejack and cast the sleep spell. The spell started and an almost transparent mist started to fill the area Applejack was in.

 

Starbolt heard Fae's report. "Incoming bombing run!" She yelled but it was to late and the bombs started falling. Starbolt cast one more spell and the upper part of the sky filled with a dark unbreathable mist. Several of the Lunarian pegasus were forced to fly lower within throwing range of spears. She fired several magical projectiles at them knocking a few of them out of the air.

Sapphire lay, half awake, blood was welling out of her head, she couldn't move, she was laying there, just like a helpless pony, she tried to get up, but the magic bolt in her head stopped her, she felt her self being picked up, but as soon as she moved her body, she went conpleatly under . (Okay, bye for 2 days)

"Yes ma'am," he says, ending his salute. He walked up to Starbolt and winked, "Private Scout reporting for duty, as ordered, Ma'am," he grins, "And I might add that the shared opinion at the Airforce Barracks at the Canterlot base was that you are in the top 10 prettiest mages on our side of the battlefeild," he grins.

Applejack started feeling sleepy because of the weird mist, but of course she was a strong mare so she would last very well against it.

"Send in Task Force 'Mint' immediately! Those positions are picking off our soldiers!"

(OOC Oh come on. It's not just ordinary mist it's a magical spell.

Fae intensified the spell. The mist became denser and more opaque, but it was stronger. One of the Lunarian guards dropped to the floor unconscious.

 

Starbolt blushed at Scout's remark. "Thanks Scout." She said smiling. She fired several more magic spells at the enemy forces. "I can't keep this up forever. Any ides on how to turn the battle in our favor?" She asked Scout.

He looked at the battle ground, "Hmm, you could tell Swift to shift his ponies more towards the left, so their not right next to the forest. If I were a Lunarian, I would've set up an ambush there. I'd probably try to take out more pegasi so that our ground troops aren't totally bombarded. Maybe send me somewhere to do something, pick up something, what ever," he says.

"Sounds like a good idea. Go tell Swift, you will get there quicker. Be careful okay?" She told Scout.

"I'll try to take care of those pegasi." She said as she readied another spell. She drank one of the potions Fae made, then cast more spells.

(OOC: You're right, but this is Applejack we're talking about also as a higher ranking general.)

Applejack began to feel very sleepy, but of course she would do one thing to fight it...and it was coffee. She poured a cup of black coffee into a cup and started drinking. "Them unicorns ain't gonna take somepony from the Apple family so down easily!"

 

Meanwhile Task Force 'Mint' was moving through the Everfree forest. "Alright stay low and stay quiet, we need to outflank these guys to minimize our casualties." Captain Lockon said to his unit and little sister. "How far is our objective?" Lieutenant Daybreak Belle asked her older brother.

 

"Just 32 more feet to get through." Captain Lockon replied as him, his little sister Daybreak Belle, and a unit of light green tactically armored troopers moved in.

Fae grew impatient and decided to put the spell to full strength. More of the Lunarian guards fell unconscious.

 

Starbolt stopped her spells for a moment to recover. The continuous casting was giving her a headache.

Pinkie saw Scout run away in the direction where Swift was stationed. She then sensed a pony charging after he from behind. She took out her sword and in one quick move lopped off his head. She might not want to kill any ponies, but she would if she had to.

He snaps out his wings and takes off, flying as fast as he can. He gets to Swift in about 10 minutes, and relises he doesn't know Swift's rank, "Uhh, Swift, sir, respectfully, we, Starbolt and I, suggest you and your force shift away from the Everfree. We suspect that the Lunarians may have an ambush in wait for you,"

Starbolt turned and saw Pinkie decapitate a pony. (OOC Oh dear Celestia not Cupcakes.)

"I-I-'m sorry I should of payed more attention." She apologized and set several more runes behind them.

She sat down getting a painful headache from the spells she cast.

Arriving in Canterlot Razor sees that the cost is clear. But The Steeds of The Sun( Celestia's top troops) were walking the city in groups of three. Ah man this going to be hard. Ok im going to have to blend in if i want to make it to the palace.

((OOC: I feel like I'm demolishing Pinkie's personality bit by bit, but that's what war does, so I guess I have an excuse))

 

Pinkie saw Starbolt apologize and kneel down, apparently from the headache unicorns get when they perform to many spells. She ran over and took out her main sword and her second hand. She would never be safe if she didn't have them. A few ponies streamed toward them, trying to get to Starbolt, who had caused the so much trouble. Pinkie, trained as she was, executed a perfect thrust while her second sword whipped back in a back hand, demolishing the second guy. They needed Starbolt for this war, and she would not let her die. She performed a backhand and flicked the sword against the third pony's head, knocking him unconscious. "You should really work on recovering from those headaches, I can't hold them off forever you know."

"Don't worry." Starbolt said as several advancing Lunarians tripped the runes she had set earlier. Some were frozen others were set alight and some even shocked. Starbolt saw arrows heading for them. She stopped the arrows in mid flight and sent them back to the general area where they came from. Starbolt checked her saddlebag for a potion Fae had made. She took it out and drank it. "Much better." She said.

(OOC i gona have to agree with Snow Pegasus, there are not enought luna forces, also too many middle partys in a civil war between two forces. so i may kill Swift to make a Luna republic OC maybe a griffon, also razor wing can you pick a side rather then this convoluted metal gear plot. also we still have no luna or celestia RPing)

 

Swift raised his shield to block the hell that was being rained on him as he watched his brother and sisters dieing on both sides. "You rain fire on you own Ponys YOU BAS:(DS!!" he gave out a massive cry as he shoot his shards at the air force before being slamed down by an enemy pony.

Starbolt saw Swift get tackled down. She concentrated and a bolt of lightning struck the pony attacking Swift.

"We need reinforcements." She requested from Pinkie.
