Swift heard AppleJack's voice in the distance "Ha! you speak as if you winning this battle " he said before smashing a dog in the face with his shield, " keep pushing them back!" he shouted

"looks like a high ranking officer." "Do we take prisoners?" "Yeah we do, just put a collar around her neck and cuff her hooves." The two Lunarian soldiers responded as they took Starbolt into Lunar custody.

Starbolt started to regain consciousness. "Uhh.." She mumbled. She opened her eyes and saw she was being carried by two Lunarians. She felt a collar around her and knew better than to use magic.

'Starbolt! Where are you?' Fae tried messaging her but the collar blocked her communication spell.

She flew around frantically searching for Starbolt.

Starbolt saw the Lunarian camp approaching, she remained quiet and pretended she was still unconscious.

Pinkie returned the cry. "Never! We will fight until the end!" The Solarians were not outnumbered by the Lunarians, both sides had suffered, so they had just as much a chance of winning as them.

Scout turned away from Swift and towards Ponyville, noticing the magic had stopped. Did sh- Buck! No, they do NOT take my friends. Not. A. Chance. He flew low, just over the ground, gaining speed, and tackled the Lunarian at enough speed to flip Starbolt onto his back and knock him backwards. He yelled, "FAE," and took a defensive stance, gritting at the arrow in his leg.

Fae heard Scout call for her. She flew as fast as she can towards Scout.

Starbolt was still disoriented and dizzy. "Scout get out while you can." She told him not wanting him to be in danger because of her.

"Try to stay awake ma'am. The collar is sapping your magic power. Fae is coming, she should be able to help you," he says, watching the Lunarians for movements, shifted weight, anything that might mean they attack. He noticed chances in their armor at the should, the head, the belly, and the flank. He was not fit to combat two opponents, but he would try.

Pinkie heard the ruckus and she looked in the direction where Fae flew toward Scout as Starbolt seemed to tell Scout to get out of danger. Then she realized that Starbolt was being captured. "Oh no, not on my watch." She left behind the pile of bodies she had just made and spec toward the three ponies. They were not going to capture Starbolt, no matter what.

 

Pinkie took out one Lunarian before turning to take out the other. Though the other guard saw the attack coming. He dodged to the left to dodge the attack before launching his own. He thrust out to try to get Pinkie in the chest, but she jumped out of the way just in time, the weapon only leaving a small scar. She looked down and saw the blood. She had seen it, but never on her own body. This guard was going to regret doing that. She pounced forward and landed on the other ponies back. Her sword lay on the the ground, so she would have to retrieve it later. She covered his eyes as he bucked wildly, then...

Then Task Force Mint intervened. "Pursue and capture!" Captain Lockon ordered as his team fired bolts at Pinkie Pie, Starbolt, and Dawnpath. "Take them out!" Lieutenant Daybreak Belle commanded as her team charged at the Solarian ponies while under the protection of magical shields. They would be having to fight the best of the best in the Lunarian Army unless they will retreat immediately.

Fae saw what was happening. She used her magic and roots erupted from the ground and wrapped around one of the Lunarians dragging him underground.

"Scout we should retreat." She said unable to stand because of the hoof-cuffs.

Pinkie didn't get hit by any bolts but one. She flew off the pony as the pony retreated behind the Lunarian shields. She groaned as she stood up. She looked at each pony as they attacked the other two, eyes diverted from her as she had already been hit. She wouldn't give up the battle, so she turned and galloped to the rest of the Solarians who were either wounded or treating the wounded. She didn't want to stop them, she didn't want to see any deaths, even if she had to. She sighed, then shouted, "Everypony retreat into Canterlot, we'll attack once more after the army is at full force again."

 

((OOC: I don't quite understand how the Lunar Empire won the battle with only 1 person roleplaying against a full 3, but oh well.))

(OOC: Umm, okay. Also, when I randomly poof Mal has control of Scout. I'll be gone pretty much all day.)

 

Scout saw General Pinkie decapitate the first pony, and turn on the other. That pony dodged, and lunged, grazing her. Ditching her sword, she jumped on his back while he bucked. Looking for my own weapon, I released they hadn't given me one. Cake mission. Ha, something always goes wrong. I yanked the arrow out of my leg, and with a howl of pain and anger, jammed it between the bucking ponies ribs, where he keeled over, dying. Standing on three legs, He saw arrows start flying and heard Pinkie order them to retreat. "Yes ma'am," He said sadly, releasing he had burned his home for nothing. He took off with Starbolt on his back and headed for Canterlot.

Swift continued to attack when a Griffon crashed into and began to claw at him "do you mind.." he said as he kicked at the griffon so he could draw his sword into its gut.

Swift plunged his sword into the griffon as it screamed and clawed at Swifts eye before falling to the ground "MY EYE!!" swift cried and he clutched his wound.

(OOC: Well you have to see tactical strategies. It is very brave to fight against a more overwhelming force, but also very foolish. Solar defenses were able to put up a fight, but since Ponyville is scarce in supplies they will have a hard time. Also reinforcements also matter, the Dragon's mountain is much more closer to Ponyville than Canterlot so they will be able to resupply more effectively. And also morale is in the question, this is Applejack's home her whole life so she's gonna be very fanatical at times. Both sides did accumulate and equivalent amount of casualties during the fight.)

 

Applejack looked around and watched the Solarian soldiers retreating, she could've chased after them, but she felt that she should show mercy today. Captain Lockon sent a message to the filed headquarters using magic, "Enemy forces are retreating commander. Mission is complete."

 

They went back to regroup with the other Lunar forces.

Fae followed Scout and Starbolt as they retreated. She let lose another root spell holding several chasing pegasi grounded.

"Thank's Scout." She said to her friend as he carried her on his back. Starbolt then passed out of exhaustion.

(OOC: Ok then so Fae is just a seondery character made of mass that can cast magic without any reserves and with out burning itself out , meh i can deal with that.)

 

Swift stood there watching the Solar Forces retreating before being surrounded by the enemy ' well this doesn't look good, should i surrender or go down fighting' he though to himself clutching his wound and spinning his sword 'im in to much pain to cast magic and i dough i can still fight with one eye' "fine you got me" he said as he dropped his sword and got knocked out by one of the luna soldiers.

Scout gruntd an affirmation and kept flying. All the plants I knew, all the animals I befriended, all burning, all because of me. They are burning and there is nothing I can do. I bet my tree is burning down right now, he thought. A single tear rolle down his cheek.

Sapphires eyes, were cover in blood, but she was to the next of the battle, she wiped off the blood that made it so she couldnt see, she slowly lifted her head, and looked at the army runing away, she slowly draged her self over to a good spot to see, she saw swift and started cralling twords him

After sometime Starbolt started to regain consciousness she saw Scout carrying her. "Where are we?" She asked Scout.

"Is everypony okay?" She added.

Fae trailed behind them making sure no Lunarinas were following them.

"We are halfway to Canterlot, on retreat from the Lunarians. I did not see Swift come out of there," he adds. He stares ahead hardly with a mixture of pain, anger, and sadness on his face. All of it gone. For nothing, we didn't win. We couldn't hold the line. My home, burned to the ground.

"I saw the forest Scout.... H-how are you holding up?" She said in a concerned tone. "Is Swift still alive?" She added.

"This battle went bad fast." She mumbled.

 

(OOC Sorry I'm reading a book, so I can't post as fast.)

"I suspect he is. I can't say that's a good thing, either," says Scout. He ignores the first part of her question; he's not sure how to answer it. What is this... this... holding up? Is she asking me if I'm okay? Well, no. I'm not okay. I promise.

"So what do we do now? Are we planning to take Ponyville back?" She asked Scout not sure about the details of their next plan.

'You alright Starbolt?' Fae asked her.

"Yeah I'm fine Fae. Thanks to your magic." She replied.

She looked back toward Starbolt, who had asked if they were to regain Ponyville. Turning around and running backwards, she replied, "Yes, of course we are. We just need more, many more ponies to take out the Lunar Empire as they stay in Ponyville. I'll have to ask Twilight to talk to Princes Celestia. We'll need the full force of the army if we want to take out the ponies in Ponyville without too much of a problem."

Swift regained consciousness, he was bound in chains with a collar to stop him from casting spells.. as if he could, the pain going though his entire body was too much for him to focus on casting.

' well this isn't good i think im in a cart of some kind' he though to himself before panicing 'why can't my right eye open!?' he though as he brushed his hoof across the side of his face, the texture of dryed blood followed by a stinging pain refreshed his memorie of what happen 'ow... oh yeah that griffon'.

Swift turned his head to get a good view though his good eye as he saw the Solar Forces retreating as the Luna Republic solider began to occupy Ponyville. both Ponyville and the Everfree forest were ablaze and the Pegasi and griffon's turned there attention to putting the flames out .

his gaze then turned to the fields as Solider rush to help their injured and dogs scanned across the field looking for surviving solar forces to finish off, grunts don't make good prisoners for them which means that they knew who Swift was ' i cant tell who the lucky one is' he thought as he whispered a prayer for his fallen brothers and sisters.
