REVIVAL! Was wanting to know what everyone thinks of the Super Adventure Box and what you've got from it! Personally I'm loving it and can't wait for more. I got the Super Longbow Skin from a chest, and coughed up the gold for the shield. Almost got enough Bauble Bubbles for the backpack. Also I'm getting back into the game quite a bit more now. Anyone else?

I think this last patch is incredible. I have managed to gather all the items and bonuses, but I still haven't found a weapon skin yet. I'm about half way to getting a staff skin though. I am actually looking forward to ANET making jump puzzles, they definitely succeeded with this patch.

I regrettably haven't had time to jump into the Super Adventure Box yet, so I hope they're gonna keep it around for a little while.

I tend to ebb in and out of the game, but when I get on a spree, it's kinda hard to yank me away and my productivity in life hits some all-time lows.

You got some time, stays around all of April and they plan to add to it in the coming months. Will be only open this month though until they open it again, which won't be next month or the month after. (Believe they said that in a post on the forums).

Guild Wars 2 is a great innovative game. I love that I can pick it up and leave it when I want without worrying about monthly fees. I play or don't play and I don't suffer either way. It's a great feeling. I love all the characters and classes. The game is simply beautiful to stare at. I'm thinking of starting up another character and so if I do, I'll drop my information here so I can buddy up with my fellow bronies.

Holy crap, the thread lives! laugh.png

I ended up switching to Jade Quarry a while back, so I'm no longer situated on dragonbrand. My Rangers now 80, and im splitting my time between trying to find another profession to roll (Leaning toward Necromancer, actually) and world completion (WOO, DREAMER!)

Super adventure box is awesome, though I havent run it a whole lot. It's quite aggrivating, though, as for some reason someone in the party just leaves for no apparent reason and it kicks us all out. Still have a few bobbles, though, so that's nice. Proably will end up going for the sword or greatsword, and maybe skins for my alt if I can manage to run it enough.

Sounds like a good plan. MrJK got back into it so that has sucked me back in, so now I'm leveling a Guardian alt with him. I think a lot of people switched over to JQ after Everfree kinda fell apart. I still need to do world completion as well, sitting at about 70%. Looong way to go. tongue.png

I do think a lot of people from Everfree did in fact go to JQ, as theres another relatively large brony guild (Greater Brony Alliance) there. I know Keltorre's there, as Kendrick and I randomly ran into him in orr one day. laugh.png

Well I just wrapped up the monthly achievement (it's super easy, plus you can do TWELVE jumping puzzles for part of it!), and I never knew you got ten laurels for it! :o So anyway I've got fifteen now, half way to an ascended item. :D I got started late on Fractals, how far are you all in them?

My Fractals of The Mist level is a wonderful, glorius, level 3.img-1342890-1-tongue.png  I Started doing other dungeons to get geared with exotics and what not:

img-1342890-2-xf3XZaG.jpg

Dat Quaggan plushy backback! Who needs exotics when ye got that? x_x My Fotm isn't much better sitting at a fantastic 4. Slowly but surely I shall rise through the ranks! We also use the same bow I see :P (Unless that's the longbow one).

That is the longbow, my Short bow is actually a Peacekeeper one (The Tier 3 Asuran one, I believe) I transmutated onto an exotic.

And thus the Super Adventure Box leaves us. :( Anyway wanted to know what everyone thinks of the new final piece of Living Story content and the sPvP additions! I haven't gotten a chance to try either yet but intend to tomorrow. The dungeon sounds interesting and I'll probably end up farming it for the jetpack back item. :P

Not really, I'd say just take your time and enjoy yourself. Leveling is decently quick I think so reaching 80 doesn't take too long, but don't worry about missing content as you can go back later and it should still be decently enjoyable. I've personally had more fun at 80 than I did on the way to 80 due to leveling being out of the way and the entire amount of content being open, but some people don't like the lack of a traditional end-game (like Raids). I'd recommend also at least taking a peek at the new content (like what it's about) as it comes up, as it is rarely permanent so if you don't you might miss some fun cool stuff. The Super Adventure Box just left (that'll be back though), and the new dungeon will be gone on May 12th I believe. The GW2 website and forums have a lot more on that if you're interested.

EDIT: Oh and I guess I'd highly recommend gathering crafting mats even if you don't intend to craft. If you hoard them up on your way to 80 you'll have a bunch if you ever decide to craft, and if not you can sell them on the TP for a lot of money. You can deposit them from your bags right to your collections tab in the bank too which is handy.

Today was a pretty awesome day in WvWvW. When I first jumped in, everything was quite peaceful on my home borderlands. Just a few camps capped in the south, so I ran there and pulled off my first ever camp solocap. It was awesome to see how a large zerg of people from the enemy server were running at me just as I was finished capping. I managed to escape, and they would have to wait around three minutes for the camp to become re-cappable.

Later, I was defending the Bluelake tower in the south. There were only two other people there, and we were against a french zerg of 15 people. Then the two other people left to defend other places, so I was left alone, defending the tower on my own against 15 people. I was doing quite well: I destroyed all of their siege weapons, but I was not fast enough and they eventually overwhelmed me and got through, completely annihilating me as they passed. I defended the tower for quite a while but during this time a German zerg with 15 F'ING SIEGE GOLEMS had completely demolished everything else we had on the map, so the Germans were able to cap three keeps and three towers in the same amount of time that took for the french to cap the one tower I was defending.

And now you know why I love WvWvW.

I was never able to get into WvW sadly, always ran into AoE walls. Attacking camps was always fun with a few people but I never did that a whole lot. I can see the appeal though.

On another note I just need the Red borderlands and I'll have WC! Huzza! What I'll do then who knows. I'm really looking forward to the July 9th updates. I've always been a sucker for achievements and this might be what I need to get me back into the game again. Guess we shall see. tongue.png Also the Not So Secret jumping puzzle hurts me greatly.

Lol. I've done only 25% of the world completion, and I have no desire to finish the job. It's a lot lower percentage than it should be for a level 80 character since I basically just quit doing the regular quests at level 30, after all of my friends got bored with the game. After that point I joined a WvW guild and leveled all the way to 80 just by playing in WvW with a little bit of Jewelcrafting on the side. Even my storyline is stuck at a level 31 quest.. Not really the fastest way to reach 80 since there's always going to be some slow days or even weeks in WvW, but for me it's definitely the most enjoyable way.

WvW is really at its best when you're on Teamspeak with a large group of guildies. That way you'll be able to communicate very quickly and your group will be much more organized which helps immensely. An organized 30-man group can easily defeat an unorganized 50-man group, for example. That kind of epic group vs group fights are pretty much the best thing there is in WvW, and after you defeat a large group like that, you'll end up with tons of lootbags.

I'm also looking forward to the upcoming update. I heard they will nerf thief, my main class, but that doesn't really concern me. Pretty excited for the achievement rewards too even though I'm pretty much the opposite to you when it comes to achievements.. So nice to see ArenaNet giving this game so much love.

I tend to ramble a lot when talking about WvW... Maybe I love it too much..

Love an aspect of a game too much? Nonsense! A common tendency is to talk about what one enjoys, so if you really enjoy WvW it'd make sense that you talk about it a lot. :P Only reason I got WC up was because I tried to max each area I went through as I went through it, so didn't have much left at 80 to do. I'm never doing it again though hehe.

So I must say the Bazaar of the Four Winds is tied with the Super Adventure Box for my favorite update (I might even like it a bit more). I'm loving the achievement revamp, and that + the cool new area and minigame have got me playing a lot lately. One of my favorite things so far was getting 40 sky crystals, that was a blast. Anyone else?

I had a lot of fun with the Bazaar update, but the exploit in Sanctum Sprint that people keep abusing infuriates me. Screwed me out of what would have been my first win.

I'm definitely liking the new achievement reward system, too. Lots of Badges of Honor. As soon as Temple of Balthy opens on my server, I'll finally be able to buy those obby shards and get my hands on a Gift of Mastery.

Ya that exploit stinks, hopefully they'll fix it at some point. You'd think they would have made passing through the ribbon a requirement for it counting you as finished, but I guess not. :(

Also I finally got 100% WC! Never again! X_x

Just a reminder for everyone to vote Ellen Kiel in 2013. You know, because lower waypoint prices, and because Evon Gnashblade's a capitalist pig who's clearly hiding his involvement in the Thaumanova disaster. ;)

Kiel all the way! While I'd like to see the Fall of Abbadon, I don't want Evon in there. Also lower WP prices will help me a lot more than discounted keys for boxes of RNG. :P

Got 6 of the Kiel achievements, so I now have a mini Ellen Kiel following me everywhere. Bit... odd... but I'll go with it. Out of this update I'm liking the new minigames. Some of the Aetherized weapons look cool, but I don't think I'll try farming for them.
