Alright, so, I want to make original pony music. Problem is, I suck at lyrics more than a black hole sipping steak through a straw. As such, I am asking my awesome family here to write some lyrics for me!

The style of the song is going to depend on the lyrics. I think it's easier to fit the music to the lyrics than it is the other way around. I could make a anything from a black metal song to some smooth electronica, depending on the lyrics.

I don't know about you, but most people from where I come from in a musical sense have a base to put lyrics to. As in where's the actual music to put the lyrics into? I guess you could make a simple lyrical song with no back music, but it's essentially harder to do. That and you didn't exactly specify what the song should be about nor what should be included into the lyrics and how long the lyrical notes should be worded. Maybe an edit on what you need for first post would help here.

As much as I'd love to help, there is little I can do.

To write the lyrics, the writer will need to have some knowledge of the instrumental part of the music.

Also, if you already have a theme ready/picked out, we'll need to know that as well.

Oh and the genre of music would be nice to!

Gimmie a subject, I'm good with writing, but I need something to write about, because I could just make up stuff, but then it will just be a poem without any sort-of meaning. Which could work, but it's not a song so.... just write a subject.
