I've opted to just buy the single figures for the time being. Once the first wave of them is out I may go back and buy the various sets, but most likely I will just buy the singles.

I got the Luna Book from Amazon.com, The Sunglasses from Target, and the Wall Clock from Wal Mart.

 

The Jeweled Necklaces they are wearing cost 75 cents each, and came out of a Gumball-Like-Machine in Wal Mart.

I got the glitter wave of blindbags about a week ago, and the minifigure sets a few days after that. I still need to get waves 2 and 3, but for some reason wave 2 hasn't been released in America yet. Or at least if it has, I have no idea where to find it. I hope they don't skip over it, it has some of my favorite blind bags in it.

The last two waves of See-Through Sparkly "Blind Bag" Ponies (For the USA at least, not sure about other countries) each had 5 Solid-Colored Ponies from the Apple Family.

 

I eventually managed to collect all 10.

According to this image they are in fact removable, however I'm not sure about the validity of this image because it is a little old. I'll get back to you when it arrives to confirm.

Had to hunt down Pinkie Pie. Finally found her at a Wal Mart way out in Pasadena, TX.

 

Maude was pretty easy to find at a Hot Topic in Pearland, since she's still kinda new.

A $25 massive pink party pony plush that I don't really know where to put once I got home (currently chilling on my GameCube, temporarily, but it's a dust magnet), and a $10 Pinkie pie Funko pop

You can put a small lampshade on her head, and put her on your night stand. Or in a punch bowl. Or both?

 

EDITED TO ADD: If you have any paper cups for baking muffins or cupcakes,

or paper filters for a coffee machine, they might be suitable stand-ins for a lampshade?

Might have to cut them to size and use a little scotch tape and cut a hole in the bottom of them?
