Well back to doing whatever it is I do...

 

i wasnt starting drama, i pointed out the problem, explained why i didnt like it, and offered a solution to it

Could have fooled me... All I saw was "I don't care if you're leaving" and "Don't post things that will make me roll my eyes at you"

the thing with your post was, that it didnt say anything and you came off as kind of a jerk, just posting a sarcastic retort and thats it

 

if you dont agree with something thats fine, but at least leave a solution to the stated problem, on the last page ashbad posted a post where he gave his opinion on the topic offered a solution to the problem and went about his business

 

and to the other thing, i did not post that directly, i in fact do care when people leave, its when they dont give good reasons is when im irritated, and "things that make me roll my eyes" i offered an example of that in the OP

Being a member for about 9 months now, I've noticed little drama, the most I've seen was when the chatroom was closed forever, at first, I felt disconnection, in the end, I just dealt with it and moved on.

 

As for moderators, we have fantastic moderators, that care about us, and offer help to new members.

 

This forum isn't stupid, it gets boring at times, but it isn't stupid, I don't have a grudge against other members, I don't get into flamewars with fellow members, its just stupid to hear people say there is too much drama these days.

Trust me, the drama here is nothing. My LAST forum was dramaville, though. Picture the forum version of a Call of Duty lobby: Idiots, noobs, jerkwads, and 10 year olds. THAT is my last forum in a nutshell.

 

If you don't believe me... ask Thunderstorm. They are still there.

The biggest drama thing that happened with me on this forum happened a long time ago, and I don't see much now. Though, I have been quite absent from this site so maybe I haven't seen it. That is why I really like the "unpopular opinions" thread. You will get very pissed off in that thread, but that is just something you can't avoid.

 

Especially if you come to this part of the forum you will find things that you won't like. This is why I like the general discussion part of this forum. See, I love the show but I am not that big of a fan. Not as much as Avatar/Korra. So I never really venture over to the show discussion part. It is raw discussion over here that I like, but I have to expect things to not go my way. And I would never expect things to go my way/

I know there is some drama here, but I never get involved in that kind of stuff, I just ignore it, it's just a waste of time, and when there are users you don't like, you just have to ignore them, and not cause a whole bunch of nonsense by advertising that you hate them. You just have to move on and ignore.

 

This forum is a wonderful place, my experience has been very positive.

 

So to sum it up, 1. Don't whine about petty things 2. Just enjoy this forum we are all a part of, fill it with hugs and giggles of joy, not hate and drama of doom.

It's true that, compared to other sites, we don't have much drama, but remember; we still have a fairly small active user base, so we won't have as much drama anyway. And also, for awhile after this sites beginning, we had little to no drama at all, so even this is a pretty big step up from that.

 

In any case, I do prefer it when people, especially those I know, make threads explaining why they leave, simply because I'm curious, and just in case I had something to with it, I'd like to know.

The only time I met someone who annoyed me and literally made me cry, I did exactly like you said, I responded in the most polite way I could. It didn't stop so I ignored the topic and the person using this ''ignore'' feature for the first time. Anyway that person does not post on here anymore.

I guess I'm not enough of a veteran to see "how the forums have changed" and "how everyone is sooooo disconnected" and all that stuff. Shut up and move on if you don't like it here. It's not like we're forcing you to stay.

 

Eh' I've been here since October, there's only been change in rules that almost everybody agrees upon, and new members, certain sub-forums have been added, and modified. But no major change, it's just random drama popping up, and members trying to get other's attentions by leaving, or making rants about how they don't like members here, and the forums.

 

I got some personal stuff goin' on, I might not even be as active as always after a couple of days, but I love the forums, even if some of my favorite people here have left. I feel kinda bad some left because of all the drama, which I pretty much hate, but, they said it was for the best, might as well respect that and move along.

 

 

I've been here long enough to know the mods, and a couple of the members here, I can't tell ya'll how much I love each and every one of you, I see something to appreciate in everypony here, whether it's their positive attitude, or their courage to stand out from the rest and speak it's own opinions, but I love you all, you're all like my family, life was never brought to me on a silver spoon, but I appreciate what I got, I love my friends, my family, and this forums, it doesn't take a genius to know that, I cried when I realized one of my closest friends on the forums left for good, and I wasn't even aware, to this day, I regret I didn't get to talk to him enough, and I feel sad knowing I might never talk to him ever again...... but, silly drama will never drive me away from here, whether someone insults me directly, or the drama gets to me.

 

I know many members here know me pretty well, especially FinestHour, I've treated him like my big brother because he's always there for me, I've told him many things about me, he has told me many things about himself, I feel bad when he's depressed, and I feel like I could do more, try to help him cheer up, I don't like drama at all, it just makes me realize many things, and open my eyes to see a cruel world ahead, filled with hate, and betrayal. I've never been good with words, and I don't know how many times I've said that in my time on the forums, but I appreciate the members that have been able to pull on through, even after all this constant drama, I really don't know what to say, I just appreciate how many members have been there for me, and how they've been so kind, I love you all guys :3

On topic, wow. Just wow. Pinkazoid, that was beautiful. I basically feel the same way but I just put it out in a much harsher tone. Some people I've really grown to know have left as well, just instead of getting really sad, I get really pissed. All of this "drama" BS makes me angry. All it does is sadden out greatest members and makes them leave. I wish we could stop it, but we really can't. As far as I can tell, it's alot less than it was a few weeks ago, but it's definitely still there.

I have spent 16 days of my life on this site and missed all the drama. I dont get it I look at nearly everythread yet I see no drama.
