"Of course, there is no honor in backing down. " Relámpago said with his hoof up just like a performer would. Relámpago nodded when Misty talked about to team up she was right. It was better for the team to group. Relámpago looked at the other new pony that came around. These ponies started to come around like a bears finding honey. It was surprising to see them now, than a few days ago he was alone.

 

"Who are you?" He asked.

 

The guard looked at the pony with an unimpressive look, he was obviously lying. Just from his small pauses and not showing any credentials. The armor did as well since any agent wouldn't wear such a thing. "Well than, can you show me your badge." He grabbed the pony by his armor.

Trench pulled another twig out of his armor. "Be nice now," He joked, "I am a senior citizen after all."

"E.E.P.A." Rocky repeated, "... I ate my badge. I was very hungry. But that's not What's important! There is a huge problem with the castle! There is... um... a rare breed of lizards in this area and.... They're very sensitive to light! They come out at night and the castle is so lit up that... THEY'RE EXPLODING! That's right! Exploding lizards! So I need to come inside and... do things that will make them not explode anymore..."

"If that was the case than why were you acting so nonchalantly when we first meet? You could of easily of said that when we first talked. Instead, you're doing it now. I suggest you leave right now before this gets any worst." The guard said, furious at the pony in front of him.

Rocky formed an evil smile, "If you do that I'll tell Celesta about your plans to start a revolution. You have no way to prove me wrong, and I have three witnesses to back me up." He leaned over toward the guard's ear and whispered, "Or I could just kill you, that shouldn't be too hard."

"I'm Usaf, I was a Royal Night Combat operator but unlike some people i jumped ship when they started working for a Madmare. I've been living out here since the exile. So you must be the famous Captain Trench. I guess you found out the hard way that when they don't need you they ax you."

The guard wasn't afraid of this pony. He had been trained for this kind of situation, he was ready for whatever this pony had up his sleeve.

Rocky smiled, "That's the response I wanted, it's no fun if you're scared. But how do you intend to call for help if you can't speak?" He grabbed at the guard's neck with lightning speed, while using telekinesis to try and keep the guard from running.

"Hey, now, we don't need anypony fighting, I'm sort of focused on surviving as long as I can, so while you guys do...this, I'll be behind that bush I was behind earlier, trying to collect a stash of edible foods and beginning to build decent shelter, so....I'll be over there." Fire Opal went behind the bush and started searching bushes for berries.

The other guards shouted. One of the guards went up and sounded the siren. The blaring sound got everypony attention that was remotely close to the castle.

Harold poked around the courtyard walls to see Rocky attempting to strangle one of the guards. "Okay, Rocky, I'm here to... WOAH, ROCKY! WHAT THE HELL?"

 

Rocky looked confused as he loosened his grip on the guard's neck. "I thought I was supposed to do this."

 

"This isn't even close to what we asked!" Harold cried. The Sirens wailed through the city. "Where did we get siren's?" he mumbled to himself. Maybe I can use the confusion to do what he couldn't, Harold thought.

I led a platoon but I was no officer, and besides we were ground ponders, no more then a special forces unit that did what we were told, when we were told. we had no access to any of your files. if it didn't have to do with the next mission we could care less. So if you want me to fly recon or go into a firefight im good. you need and encyclopedic knowledge of the scum you picked up and threw away pick someone else."

Trench tried to keep a strait face, but broke out into joyful laughter. "You are my kind of guy!" He said between deep, heavy laughs, "Had this been under better circumstances, I'd offer you a drink!"

She opened her eyes and saw trees everywhere, sunlight shining through the leaves. As she stood up and walked forward she saw a huge dome surrounding everything around her, it was like nothing can come in or out of it.

 

"Where am I?" she thought out loud as she stepped over to the stream of clear water to take a sip.

Misty just stood silently, watching the back and forth between the two stallion. She had no idea what they were talking about. "Uh, so, anyone want to learn about survival?" she asked weakly, trying to refocus the group's attention. If they were going to stay alive until they figured a way out, they would have to work together. Misty also saw it as an opportunity to help ponies, just so she would do right by herself.

Usaf turned to Misty. "I'm good on housing but my food supply will not last forever if you could show me some of the berries in the area that wont kill me i would thank you."

"'less you know how to brew, I don't need it right now miss." Trench said in the friendliest tone he could muster. He undid the front straps to his breastplate and shook until the metal sheet dropped to the dirt with a loud thump. He felt much better without that heavy mass on his shoulders. While piling wood strategically on top of each other, Fire Opal shouted from a small distance away, "There isn't much to know about survival, are I need to do to survive is fulfill my needs and think ahead. See, all you need is food, shelter, water, and you're all set. So while you all yak over there," he said, finishing up a space for one pony and starting on a second one, "I'll be chilling under a roof."

Daeva went back into the forest and saw an abandoned saddlebag that had a bottle that could carry one litre of water, a combat knife and a flashlight with batteries in it.

 

She threw the saddlebag on her back, it wasn't that great but it'll have to do as she had no idea where in the hoof she was.

 

"I suppose I'll pick up some water before I leave.." she said to herself as she flew over to the stream and scooped up some water and into the bottle.

Trench laughed and pointed on the metal lump on the floor that he had been wearing moments earlier. "You seen the size of this thing? I've practically got a shelter already!" He laughed a little more, then picked himself up and started to search for wood.

"Okay, sure, I can do that. Now if you'll just come over here, we can go over berries." Misty said while smiling a little. She trotted of to a bush. "Black and blue berries are usually edible more often than red berries. White berries are the least likely to be edible. Of course, there are some inedible black berries and edible red berries." she recited from memory. "So if it's red or white, and you don't recognize it, leave it alone." She pointed to blueberries. "These are always safe. Try to remember what these look like, okay?" She turned away from the bush and shouted to the red unicorn. "I already know how to build a lean-to, so I'm good on shelter." Misty was in high spirits. She felt like she was helping for once. "Um, I don't think any of us really introduced ourselves. I'm Misty Leaves, for those of you who didn't know."

"Captain Peter Trench," Said Peter, "Well, ex Captain now." He wasn't building shelter, instead he had decided on using his cape as a hammock. He was in the process of fashioning it to two nearby trees.

"My name is Usaf I was a Royal Night Guard... you know for the military... I was a ground ponder... a basic soldier. but dropped out when things started getting bad"

Usaf felt a little weird talking to Misty she was the first non military type that he had talked to and he was a little flustered. He didn't want to confuse her with military slang but didn't want to insult her intelligence by dubbing it down too much.
