do any of you indulge yourselves in the art of knotting? ive learned there are more and more of us out there than i originally thought. it's a very relaxing but time consuming way to unwind from work or after a tough school assignment or something. my favorite method is macrame. most people in the states just call it "hemp" because hemp jewelry is usually what you see, along with friendship bracelets.

 

my current project is a macrame mandala flower necklace inspired by this lovely lady's work on flickr.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i have currently invested over 14 hours of time, not counting the time it took me to find these amazing videos

i have made other things with macrame but this is by far my most involved piece. im pretty pleased with myself if i may say so *does little dance*

its really not that difficult it's just time consuming. two hours here two hours there really adds up! and thankyou i appreciate feedback
